Dropped off a circuit board for a treadmill and after a week without any updates I had to call 3 times just to get an answer that they were still working on it. After 3 weeks I was told they couldn't fix it and was charged $60.
I understand that sometimes things cannot be fixed but the lack of communication was frustrating. I would take your business elsewhere if you're looking for a repair shop.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS COMPUTER HERE. I took mine in with a small problem it was working for me and I could get at all of my files and use them. They gave me back my computer with no files. My entire sign business files were gone!! Years of work GONE. Hopefully their company will go out of business like they forced me to do.

I have a thermal spa hot tub and the service parts wanted $750 for a new board. My pumps weren't turning on. The spa wasn't used for 2 years. I dropped off the board and 2 weeks later they called and said it was fixed. Portage replaced the pump relays and everything is working great. I also dropped off a small board for my bathroom whirlpool tub that turned on but wouldn't shut off. They replaced capacitors and it also works perfectly. I highly recommend them for your electronic needs.

I have a 23 year old Thermospa hot tub that is still in great condition. I recently had an issue where the heater stayed on all the time. Long story short, I could not get service on my hot tub, nor parts or a replacement control board. I suspected a stuck heater relay, but nobody does circuit board repair these days. Everybody I talked to wanted to sell me a new $20k spa. Yeah right!! Well after an exhausting search for weeks I stumbled upon Portage Electronics Inc. I talked with Mary who was soooo nice. She said "sure, bring your board in or you can mail it to us". I decided to drop it off. Within a week I got a call from Mary saying my board was fixed and it was a bad relay. Mind you, if I could get a new board it was over $900. I proceeded to pick up the board and met the man who fixed my board. So kind. So nice to talk to. Cost me $104 and my spa is back in action. I can't thank P.E. enough!!! I highly highly recommend this place and if I ever have another electronic issue this is the place I will definitly go to!!!!

I didn't go there, but I had a phone call with the woman there, and she was very helpful. She sent me a couple emails and sincerely tried to help with issues regarding my vacuum cleaner. She was very patient and helpful.

they repaired the circuit board for my exercise bike that is no longer made and would otherwise render my $1,500+ SportsArt bike useless. This is as an awesome husband & wife business. I'd drive 100 miles to use them if necessary!
