Salesperson, Kathy, was great! She is not pushy but knowledgable and helpful. Selection is good. I purchased 2 Archbold chests of drawers and a Flexsteel sofa. Very happy with sofa but not so much with chest of drawers.One arrived with damage and both were poorly stained. I was referred to the complaints department to handle this. Randy started off nice. He immediately issued replacement orders for both, which I thought was a bit overkill as I would’ve kept the undamaged one. It took about four months to get the replacements and during that time Randy grew increasingly less friendly. He ignored my inquiries and just as I was about to escalate the issue the store called to set up delivery for my replacement pieces.The replacement pieces were not really any better, as once again, both were poorly stained. One of the chests had damage on two of the drawers. At least one of those drawers I believe was damaged by the delivery guys as they were putting the handles on. I had them switch out the drawers from one of the other pieces so that took care of the problem.Although I am not happy about that bad staining job, I can live with it because I do know how to fix it- I just shouldn’t have to on brand new pieces in this price range. What really left me with a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that Randy drop the ball and started ignoring me. Once the replacement pieces were delivered, he decided that he was not going to respond to me again when I mentioned that these pieces were still not up to par. All I would’ve like to some acknowledgment, an apology, the option to switch to a different product (given that Archbold apparently cannot provide a properly finished piece), or maybe an offer of a small discount. But I got none of that. To me, that is very poor customer service. When customers are upset about some thing an apology goes a long way. All he had to say was I’m sorry and acknowledge that this is the quality offered by Archbold and that there’s nothing else to be done. Being ignored on the other hand, has exactly the opposite effect.Unfortunately, this means that I will not be buying the rest of my pieces from Fine Home Furnishings.

We purchased a beautiful Flexsteel sofa, 2 recliners, from them. It was all great until the one recliner decided not to work anymore. It has electric controls for the reclining, lumbar and headrest. We called the warranty dept, as they talked us into purchasing that when we bought the furniture. We called the warranty company and they sent someone out - 3 weeks later. He had no parts with him, was at our house for less than 5 minutes, told us is was the electric cord or maybe the panel and they would order it. Then we get a call telling us it is still under the stores warranty and they can't do it. We call the store, who then calls their service people (outsourced).Then another guy shows up, still no parts with him and he says it is the motor not the cord. They say they will order it, they even took a picture of the actual part and #. Then 2 more weeks later we get the motor shipped to us, the guy comes out - wrong motor. We call the store again, they will order the part. I sent him pictures of the motor with the part number. Again, 2 weeks later we receive the wrong motor. Now we are sitting on another 3 weeks and still have no chair. We have complained about the customer service, asked for a new chair, and no response, except they are sorry. However, "Sorry" doesn't allow me to use my chair for the last 4 months! We paid over $1,548 for this chair!This is the most unacceptable customer service I have ever received or witnessed. I sold appliances for a living and none, not one, of my customers ever went thru this type of service. I always made it right.Another email was sent today, will I get a positive result or another, "I'm sorry."***UPDATE: Synopsis...We're sorry, Flexsteel is sorry". But wait for it...now the part won't be in until July 14th! So it will now be almost 5 months without a chair!***UPDATE: The Owner was informed of the situation, called me and has made this right. I will be receiving a new chair, which is scheduled for delivery on Monday, July 3rd. I appreciate his help in the situation, and making it right for the customer. He won back his customer.

Just finished making my first purchase from Fine Home Furnishings, and it was a great experience! Kathy was wonderful and even remembered my name when I came back a second time, which was a lovely touch. Kathy was very personable and helpful to answer all my questions. I love that this is a family-owned business too! I’m excited for my new couch! Thanks again.

I thought this place had great furniture and warranty -spent 12,000 at this place and when it comes to warranty they do not honor it , bad business practices and that will go on the bbb of ohio and contact the ohio attorney’s general office , will also contact consumers protection agency , just a warning to everyone !!!!!

Family owned and you can tell! Friendly staff, fair pricing and quick turn around times. They care about the quality of their products and stand behind everything they sell. My family moved here during the covid shortage and this place had inventory where most stores did not. We bought 3 pieces of furniture from them and they got delivered that week. We are very happy with our purchase. So happy we went back and bought a sleeper sofa today(It will be delivered in 2 days). Their sales force is super knowledgeable and helpful! They don't bother you and let you shop, while being available for you anytime. Thank you Larry, Ryan and the rest of the team for being kind and helpful. Its always nice to buy from a store that takes pride in what they sale and knows their product. I highly recommend Fine Home Furnishings and their prices are comparable if not better than all the big furniture stores. Check it out!

This company does not stand behind their sales. I bought a Flexsteel couch in July. By October it had a crack in a wood support piece. I filed a claim with the store. The Claims Manager tells me that it is solely up to the manufacturer to repair/replace. He tells me this is "standard" practice. I have had two of the warranty company's repairmen to tell me the couch needs to be replaced. As of today, Dec 17th, I still haven't heard if it will be replaced or even repaired. It is getting worse everyday and I'm sure causing damage to the rest of the couch support system. A couch should not break in three months with normal use.I advise you to avoid this store and this manufacturer. I am very disappointed that I made this purchase.

Staff member were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in choosing options that worked for my needs and style. They were there to give suggestions and options, but not pushy or too aggressive. I appreciate the time and care they gave when helping me, even though I wasn't buying the most expensive furniture in the store. I'll definitely go back for future furniture needs.
