“This place is so far above and beyond any other grocery store it's not even close. I went to the Deli Counter yesterday looking for 6 Ribeyes. 5 were left in the glass display, meaning he had to go in the back and cut a fresh one. Instead of giving me the one extra, this man cut 6 fresh out of the freezer without me asking him to do so. It's customer service like this that makes this Heinen's stand out. Also their kindness is always appreciated.”
“We love the prices, quality, and convenience. They have most of the basic groceries - produce, breads, dairy, meats, seafood, canned goods, beer & wine, and more - at lower prices than the other stores. They also have several sections of specialty items - housewares, toys, clothing, etc. - that changes regularly. You never know what you might find. Bring a quarter to unlock the shopping cart (you'll get it back) and bring your own bags. The employees are friendly and helpful. It isn't a superstore, so there are a few items you won't find there - that's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But for the money, you're better off getting most of what's on your list at Aldi's.”
“The Heinen's on Green Rd is our very favorite grocery store! It's an old family business. There are always plenty of friendly, knowledgeable employees stocking shelves, and they're happy to answer questions. The produce is the best anywhere around - WAY better than the local Giant Eagle stors and even better than Whole Foods. Organic vegetables are available. They sell dry-aged steaks, which are the most delicious, tender steaks you can find in our area. Very nice meat and seafood department. Very nice bakery, as well.
The only negative thing about Heinen's is their PRICES for meat, vegetables, household items, crackers, cookies, soft drinks (always sky high), name-brand canned goods, bread, ethnic food, frozen goods, etc. I generally buy those things at Marcs, Target, or Walmart. Heinen's does have good sales when you can catch them, and Heinen's brand of canned goods and dairy are generally equivalent to name brands. We always check their weekly sale brochure for deals, and sometimes you save extra if you have a store savings card. When we get home and look at the sales receipt, we try to remember that we're supporting a well-regarded business in our little city and their excellent employees. You get what you pay for.”
“Aldi has been my life saver. With my car being down, it's been a major asset for ordering my products & having them delivered. Yes, I do enjoy shopping myself, I still get fresh food & good quality.”

“This store is every well stocked. Each time I find something new to me and I try it out. The prices of goods are very competitive even lower than most other chains. I love their international meat and cheese choices, plus their pre-made selection is a step above the rest. I can't recommend Aldi enough to save money and have quality product in your home.”

“Not near as much selection as other groceries nearby, but has the essentials and at a significantly cheaper price. I spend half as much here vs. Giant eagle or Target for similar produce, dairy, and meat selections. Just not much name brand stuff. Store is clean and really quick. Just bring a quarter for the carts and bags for your groceries. They have bags but they're not free.”
“Good variety in breads. However all stores put out previously frozen bread with no warning so it needs refrozen or will mold quickly. Good produce, great cheeses etc love the chicken cranberry salad, convenient deli packages, limited meats. Like the selections in the frozen selections, Like the unusual items that they bring in. Love the buy out area and organic. If your Aldi's is not top condition report it to the Corp”
“Heinen’s is such a gem when it comes to both groceries and fresh flowers. The store is always clean, well-organized, and filled with high-quality products—from fresh produce and meats to specialty items you can’t always find elsewhere. The flower department is one of my favorite parts. Their arrangements are always gorgeous, fresh, and long-lasting, whether you’re picking up a simple bouquet to brighten your home or something more elegant for a special occasion. The selection feels thoughtful and adds such a welcoming touch to the shopping experience.

“The place is a little deceptive and I am glad bring an overall rating of the entire experience. First off, it’s a good size grocery store that seems well stocked. However the grocery carts need attention because the wheels on every cart were jacked up. Every staff member was kind and attentive, which was a huge plus. The hot food and salad bar: all looked very good. I’m went with the hibachi. It was awesome, with a sizable, filling, man-sized portion for $12. A drawback was that they did not have drinks available where we bought our food. There was nobody at the kiosk area for drinks, so you would have had to make the purchase at the grocery check-out, which all lines were backed up. Lastly, we said we would eat there, as they had about a dozen tables in the corner. It was disgustingly filthy, but we wet some napkins and cleaned a spot and ate. I think this would be a good grab and go place. Even with hibachi, we only had a short wait. Food alone would have been 5-stars because it was delicious and what we didn’t eat looked superior”

One complaint my friend and I both had was the price tags, many things weren't marked as all, and several other tags were misplaced under different items than the tags were priced for. When my friend approached a nearby employee and asked about a price for an item that this particular employee had just gotten done stocking. She just kept saying "it's right there. It's right there" and pointed in the general direction of the iiem he had asked about. This particular item was in the cooler, he finally found the marker... the tag was on the floor inside the cooler half under the rack”
“Once I thought just another inner city grocery store, but they do lottery, pay bills, cash checks, and money orders. They also sell a variety of things from purses to shoe's, appliances for both kitchen and bathroom. The butchers aren't there everyday, but are excellent, willing to supply fresh meat, if not pleased with out front. The best deal is a 10 lb bag of wings for $15, if you don't believe of the savings, try finding that anywhere. Lastly the cashier's have you leaving the store with a smile.”
“Everything is always so good! If you have a small gathering, they have a lot of excellent small bites in their frozen section. I bought sushi this week - delicious/nice size portion! The individual burgers are fabulous - after grilling these, you will never buy anything else!”

They've never (since the pandemic) restocked their veggie version of their French Bread pizzas. Someone should tell them that many of us can't tolerate PEPPERONI - the only option now!
Often there aren't prices on the shelves.
There's no way for us single people to consume 2-3 pounds of prepackaged fruit - EVEN IF THEY WEREN'T BRUISED AND ROT QUICKLY. I've observed restocking with such carelessness - dumping or practically tossing those bags around as though they aren't fragile. (I'll concede it's not just at Aldi's though.)
I'm looking forward to their forthcoming new store in University Heights (will it really happen????) so I don't have to drive so far to be disappointed.......”
“Shop N Save is a good place to play lotto buy beverages and food items. The owner is kind to me all the time. The gentleman is helpful and he greets me everything I come in. I recommend this place for convenience.”
“I like that this store is clean and organized. I like the large options for groceries. The only thing I will complain about is the lack of clerks at checkout. While I visited, there was only one line open. Granted, the manager did come up front and open another line to help alleviate some of the congestion. This is a new store so I will give some grace in hopes this small inconvenience will improve.”
“I typically only go to Costco for a few things I love.Coffee~Kirtland k cups, the seasonal pumpkin pie, cheesecake, Pho, roasted chicken, turkey pot pie.Today the cheesecake looked odd. Like it wasn't finished. Also almost everyone had an earth quake crack on top. Please don't ruin this beautiful, tasty bargain. It's one reason I got a membership. It has always been a crowd pleaser.Also the burgers in meat department no longer taste as good. I don't buy them anymore for that reason.Giving up letting us use Discover after mid November 2023 is also a big disappointment.Ok I'm done.”

“I went to the hair store there which I love and wish was in a different location. This location is not safe and, people litter so its a mess. However, my last visit, it was actually clean! They may have cracked down on the rift raft and, rid the place of trouble makers. I will be going back only to to to unique hair store because i have been shopping with that guy for years. He is a sweetheart.”

“I live relatively near here and work quite near here and it is a hidden gem especially their hot food ordered from the back. The ordered food from their kitchen is one of the best deals in Cleveland right now. The photo I posted would easily cost twice what I paid anywhere else in the city.”
