I had to go to Dollar general to quickly get a single item before they close at 11:00. I arrived at 10:45 only to find the doors already locked.
I get it I've worked in retail. It is not the most fun nor the most glamorous job and at the end of your shift all you want to do is go home.
But if your hours state you are open to 11:00. You need to be open till 11:00.
Ridiculous!
If you're going to close earlier change your sign, or at least post a sign informing your customers while you are closing early

Does not stand behind their commitments and is completely unwilling to help.
I tried to drop off a FedEx package that fit within the guidelines that are posted. When I got to the store, they would not accept the package because it did not fit on the shelf they have set aside for FedEx packages.
They said they could not take it. I came here because, in writing, they said they would take a package this size. In fact, they would take a bigger package.
I offered to adjust the shelf so it would accommodate the packages that they said they would take, but they said they would not do that.
They were stubborn and completely unhelpful.

Everything was stocked and they had exactly what I went for. Staff was friendly and ready to help if needed. The store was also clean.

Likes to cancel mobile orders for no reason and when you call about it they just say idk what happened and hang up. Like how freaking rude? This is the second time they have messed up and lost me and everyone i know as customers. I’d rather drive all the way to Columbus to get one thing then go here.

Came in today to get my baby wipes . I use this dg almost daily. Elderly lady at 12:03 Long blind hair , raspyish voice was BEYOND rude . My check for whatever reason loaded late so my card declined . I told her my husband's in the car he'll be right in to pay. She says she can't hold it bc she's got a man in line , that's fine I say he can totally grab another pack and stand in line. This wasn't good enough for her and she gets LOUD and rude.... "I CANT RING HiM UP YouR CARD DECLINED I NOW HAVE TO WAIT ON MY MANAGER .... I tell her I just don't get what u need from me and I walk out ....ew really

They wont accept the Fedex shipment if your box is bigger than a shoe box because their little shelf is stuffed with other packages.

they don't even have stuff all over the place and if you go to Doylestown DG, it's the worst, they got stuff everywhere and this one is so much better, and they even got stuffed and stocked up and it's not dirty

I went to this dollar store in rittman the manager there is so rude I never have a good experience in rittman..
I'll go to Smithville or Wadsworth before I go back to that store...
