Owner did an amazing job! She was incredibly through with me regarding options and pricing. Helped me decide on the best look for what I wanted to accomplish with my print. Absolutely excellent work and I would recommend without hesitation. A definite master in her skills.

Fantastic! I'm new to area and I have older fine art pieces that needed updating. I checked places out and went here. All I can say is the moment I met Kate I knew she was it ! I brought a piece to check her out and 2 hrs later with extreme care precision and love she destructed a rice paper tombstone rubbing ( done personally in 1975) without one rip or mistake ! Then deciding on matting etc was taken with extreme thought and precision . That was only the beginning of a wonderful relationship that I enjoy as I sit in my home!!!!

I had a large map that I wanted framed. Kate was very helpful and I was quite glad with the finished result. That was five years ago and the framed art is still looking good.

Kate is an angel. She worked with me on a birthday gift for my husband. My husband lost his father in 2013, after a brief and unrelenting battle with cancer. He didn’t get the chance to leave anything behind and this was something my husband has commented on from time to time, he also mentioned how much he wished his Dad could have met our son. The kind of loss and grief that ebbs and flows forever, something only those who have lost someone knows too well. I wanted to give him something to honor his Dad and who he’s become as a father. All I had was scraps of an idea: an old letter his father wrote when my husband was in high school about all of his hopes he had for his own son, the hope he’d one day have a grandchild whose hand he could hold who looked just like my husband, and photos. Our son looks just like his Dad. Kate took those scraps, magically prophetic, and turned them into a beautiful complete piece. Something we’ll treasure forever. I gave her treasured items, old pictures, and she painstakingly made sure nothing was cut or altered. She knew she was working with memories and I’m so grateful for that. She’s an artist and so kind. I’m not an artist. I’m not even a little bit crafty.But, she saw my idea, the scraps, and made a masterpiece that will hang in our home and in our hearts, always.

Today I got my painting back from this company A Gallery West after waiting two weeks and paying $232.36 for a stretch canvas for which she did not even use the kind of wood that she showed me the day I brought the painting to her. I could have gotten over that if she hadn't ruined my painting which cost me $639.20 without shipping charges of $46.87. The beauty of the painting was the gold leaves that the artist used so much care to apply and now it's all scrapped off and crumpled, I cannot even look at the painting anymore it's so damaged. I expect a refund of what I paid for the painting and for the stretching canvas or I'll make sure to get a lawyer.

Brought in a 100 year old family portrait in an oval frame with curved glass. The owner suggested before she repaired the frame, the photo needed cleaning. I agreed, OH MY GOODNESS she was spot on. There were details I never saw till Kate used her skills. So very pleased.

After a disappointing encounter with a framer in a neighboring community, a big-box craft store and part-time who vanished off the radar we had about given up. Not being from CLE I inquired on the Fairview Park FB group. Someone recommended Kate at Gallery West. Our project was a bit unusual (possibly why the other 3 framers weren't interested). Kate tackled it without question, at a fair price and turned it around even faster than promised. She even did a bit more than we requested or expected to make the project easier for me once I returned home with the 3 pieces. If we were any more pleased with her you'd think we were related ! If it's framing, especially custom framing, you need it's a no-brainer. Don't even bother shopping elsewhere- call Kate at A Gallery West.

I had a picture of myself from a beauty pageant I won 30 years ago. During my moving process, the frame got severely damaged. I was lucky that the picture itself didn’t sustain any damage. I waited before getting a new frame, knowing I was going to get new furniture before deciding to have the picture reframed. Kate is a phenomenal businesswoman. She provides her customers with personalized service and pays close attention to details. One cannot help but gravitate towards her upbeat and positive personality. She’s excellent at offering suggestions to make sure your framing and mat is a fit with your decor. I recommend this business highly. I could have stayed there for hours just admiring the unique and extensive selection of frames and other accessories. I will be returning to this business so that Kate can reframe art that I cherish.
