“I'm going to smoke my first brisket over the weekend. I thought I would go to a local butcher to get the freshest cut of meat. I walked in and moving down the counter asked if they had brisket. The butcher in the back heard me and came out and took care of me - he got the weight I wanted and asked if I wanted more or less fat on it. He went back and I watched him getting my 5 lb brisket ready. Not surprisingly he was as good if not better than the individuals preparing a brisket on youTube and my brisket was ready to go in minutes. It is a beautiful cut of meat & is at the point where I just need to season and cook it, which is just where I want things to be at this point. TJ's may not be the biggest place, but I will certainly return for future brisket orders.”

“If you're looking for super high quality local food this is your store. Nothing in here is inexpensive, this isn't your local corner full service grocery store, it's a limited market premium shop. You want $50 a pound filet? They have that. And it's definitely $50 a pound quality filet. The meat counter is arguably one of the best in the city. It's an actual butcher shop amd everything is as fresh as it gets. Their in house artisanal smoked meats and sausages are first rate. Absolutely delicious bacon. Incredible local cheeses. Good selection of locally grown seasonal produce. Great local milk and eggs. No factory food. You will get what you pay for.”
“Sausage is seriously one of my favorite food groups. Gibbs hand-makes dozens and dozens of THE most delicious specialty stuffed sausages! Their sausages are so delicious, I seriously think we shopped there every single week last summer lol. Their steaks are also incredible as well. I cannot believe I’ve lived in Cleveland my entire life and only just found Gibbs a few years ago.”
