Prices here are much cheaper than Kroger and even Meijer. Quality produce and meat with a nice selection of cheeses. Aldi and Costco are not only the most affordable grocery shopping, but they sell quality groceries as well.

The price seems to be good. I don't believe I have ever talked to an employee there. Everything seems to be clean and organized.

You can get 2x as many groceries as walmart. Do I have to say more? I will anyway.
For one thing, they have all you could need. Really can't think of any category of food they don't have. Meat, veg, fruit, snacks, teas, cheese, and peas.
The quality of the generics is usually pretty much the same as name brand, quite often better, but even if it was mid, you get SO many groceries. There also are quite a few name brand items anyway if you want to be picky.
I live with 1 other person, and my teen son on the weekends, and $150 does us for like 2 weeks or more. I swear that's the price of entry for meijer. This isn't sponsored, but it's not false.
The selection is also pretty great for such a small building. They have basic stuff, but also really interesting stuff you'd never see at Walmart or Meijer, like fancy dips, cheeses, interesting desserts, stuff like that.
I'm not taking off a star for this, because Aldi is too goated for this to matter, but their produce can be a little iffy. I'd recommend not doing pickup for produce. You have to be very picky with it or you'll get burned. They do have a great selection in a small space though, so I can't hate it. All the basics, plus some less common items.
Yes, you do have to pay for bags, but that's environmentally conscious, and I won't hear it from you. They're what, like a buck? Huge and durable. Buy one or bring your own. I use them for other stuff. They're basically just branded totes. Very thick, and they fit a lot. The equivalent of maybe 2 or 3 regular grocery bags. Buy them once, and just bring them back. They don't break.
The real strategy is to use their empty boxes. You ever bring in a full grocery trip in 2 passes? I do. Boxes, baby. They're all over the place, and you're saving them the trouble of throwing them out by taking them. Recycling, yo.

Stopped there 9/28/24 to get a few things. 2% milk had some kind of white fiber looking stuff in it, 3lb of half red&green grapes and they don't even taste like a grape and theres some kind of greasy film on them. frozen chicken chow mein, chicken was absolutely spoiled. Most definitely will never step foot into another aldis again. There not showing what's in there food if you want to call it food. This has nothing to do with store location, this is aldis itself and the garbage they sell and ppl saying it's cheaper than other stores are dumb. 4 walmart bags and still cost $85

You can save big money by shopping here over Kroger, Meijer, and Walmart. The smaller store footprint equals less time shopping and more fun elsewhere!
