Spent $1300 for nothing. We took our Captiva for a chugging problem. When we picked it up, the issue was still the same. Took it back to Purdy's only to leave with the same issues. VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT GIVING AWAY $1300.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My wife's alternator stopped working on her way back to Columbus from Ft Wayne. Not being familiar with the area she called a friend that lived near Indian Lake and they told her to call Todd at Purdy's. It was well after business hours when the tow truck dropped off her vehicle but Todd happened to still be there. Being Thursday evening before Easter I assumed we were looking at a few days. They in fact got a new alternator and had it installed by 4:30 Friday and we were back on the road for the holiday weekend. Worked us in on what appears to be a pretty tight schedule and did it all at a fair price - by my estimation about the same as it would have cost me to tow it all the way to Columbus and do the work myself. Nice to find a small independent shop that provides good (and critically, honest) service.Service: General repairs & maintenance
