In the hum of Ohio's morning light,
Stacey stands, her apron tight.
Sunoco's pumps, they hiss and sigh,
As cars roll in, and headlights die.
She greets each soul with steady grace,
A smile that brightens every face.
From dawn's first glow to evening's fall,
She answers every service call.
The tires spin, the engines roar,
But Stacey's calm at every door.
With every swipe and every fill,
She runs the station with a will.
Through rain and snow, through heat and frost,
Her dedication never lost.
In Ohio's heart, where roads entwine,
Stacey's spirit brightly shines.
This poem celebrates the daily dedication and warmth Stacey brings to her role at Sunoco, embodying the essence of community and service in Ohio

Super rude staff. Bathroom was denied for paying customers

I stopped into the Sunoco station at 45820 National Rd W, St Clairsville, OH 43950 today. I am sure it was not a corporate owned store, but I am reaching out to you as the actions of a branded store reflect poorly upon your brand. My son is very talented and competes on a robotics team. We were traveling to Carnegie-Mellon University today for a robotics scrimmage and my son asked if we could stop for a restroom brake. I figures that this would be a good time to top off our gas tank, so we stopped at the aforementioned service station due mainly to its convenience, being located directly off of a major highway. I pulled up to the pump closest to the door and started pumping gas and directed my son to head inside to use the restroom. As he headed to the restroom, the lady working yelled at him and said “that’s for paying customers only!” My son is very timid and has anxiety, so he got nervous and walked back out to to me, visibly upset, and asked if I could take him across the road to a restaurant to use the restroom. After I finished pumping gas, I took my son back inside we proceeded to the restroom. I then told the cashier that her action of yelling at my son was very unprofessional and I explained that I was pumping gas when he went inside to use the restroom and I showed her the receipt for my purchase. She got defensive accusing me of putting my receipt in her face despite the fact that I was never closer than 3 feet from her. She then stated that she watches the cameras and cannot see who is pumping gas when people come into the store. There wasn’t a single car at the fast station that wasn’t pulled up to a pump. At this point I realized I was essentially talking to a brick wall. What makes the least sense is that if I had stopped to buy something inside the store, her attitude would have turned me off to where I wouldn’t have bought anything from inside. If I had gone inside to use the restroom first, it’s quite possible I would have left without buying gas. Your employees and/or employees of your affiliate need to do better. It is NOT fair for an employee to treat
a teenager (or anyone) in this way! Please retrain your employees / affiliates on customer service. No one should be treated in this way and her actions lost a sale of road trip snacks… we won’t ever be stopping at this Sunoco again.

The employee was incredibly rude to my 13 year old son. My husband and son stopped at this gas station on the way to Pittsburgh. My husband was pumping gas and my son needed to use the restroom and asked to buy a snack, so he went inside while my husband was getting gas. When he entered the store and walked towards the restroom, an employee yelled at him and said “that’s for paying customers only!” My son is very timid and has anxiety, so he got nervous and walked back out to his father, visibly upset, and asked him to take him across the road to use the restroom. My husband finished pumping gas, took my son back inside, and showed the receipt to the cashier, explaining that they were “paying customers.” The cashier did NOT apologize and only gave excuses that she cannot see who is pumping gas when people come into the store. It is NOT fair for an employee to treat a teenager (or anyone) in this way! This event happened early on a Saturday morning and not during a time when teenagers would be causing trouble. What is more disturbing is while people are complaining about how the youth of today act, people like this employee do not set of example of how to treat others. Please retrain your employees on customer service. No one should be treated in this way and her actions lost a sale of road trip snacks… we won’t ever be stopping at a Sunoco again.

Terrible customer service. Upon entering the store we were told “ restrooms are for customers only”, rudely. This gas station/convenience store is located at the exit of a major highway. Of course people are going to stop to use the restroom, especially when every rest area in the state is currently closed. We were planning to buy items, but since you apparently have to purchase then use the bathroom, we chose to leave and go next door to the Marathon station. We used the facilities then made our purchases, and were treated with kindness. I definitely would not recommend this place, they obviously don’t need the business.
