Took truck to them for low power and excessive egt. also cracked exhaust manifold. They replaced manifold and found a boost leak. Was told turbo checked fine. Had same issues. Went back and was told that the thing left to do was tear the motor down to find the problem. I left and found an independent shop that found that the exhaust side of the turbo was completely destroyed. Called them with the findings and was told nothing could be done as I went to an independent shop. Turbo was only 6 months old!

This place is full of it, went in for an oil change and left with a 1200.00 bill, by far the most expensive oil change I have ever had, save yourself the time and money don not go there, Western Branch Diesel in St.Clairsville, OH, they will overcharge you

Although the truck has to go back because of an issue western branch isn’t to blame. They’ve done an outstanding job of diagnosis and repair of the issues it’s showed. They explained and showed me what their computer is saying and addressed those issues therefore they get 5 stars. The Detroit Diesel engine however gets 0 stars.

Update- Took to local shop and they diagnosed injectors and harness. Even after I have a bill from Western Branch stating injectors and harness were good.. Truck runs good now but jakes are messed up mechanically from western branch and exhaust valves and intake were not set properly from western branch he said.. SHOCKER!Took truck down cause it had a miss at 1300-1500rpm. They charged me $1000 diagnostic fee. Claimed they checked turbo, injectors, wiring, etc. Told me my rocker arms needed replaced. Another $2000 later and truck was good. Picked it up and problem wasn't fixed. Same problem. Took back down and they claim my jakes were the problem. Wanted another $2000 to fix the same problem. I picked it up and turns out fuel lines were my problem. Never again, should give me a refund for misdiagnosis and having my truck for 3 weeks. Place is a joke

Do NOT go here unless you are loaded with money and like being charged almost $1000 for an oil change and their excuse was they charge by the hour. They do not care if your out there trying to make a living they will take every dime they can get from you. This is not from one visit but a few since they were the closest to me.

Extremely Disappointed in their ability to properly diagnose a no start issue with our International DT466. The Service Writer has no comprehension of what the mechanics are telling him. He is only a salesman. After an $8,000 ECU replacement, and still no start. He told us they couldn't test compression but he was sure that it needs rebuilt. He accused our mechanic of spraying gallons of ether into it trying to start it. Every time I talked to him, I felt insulted. I did enjoy talking directly to the mechanics. There are some good folks who work there but, dig deep in your wallet, they are going to spend your money. #Truckstillbroke #Imbroketoo
