HnR Block Salem,Ohio Shady deal here, I feel this preparer, Dan lied a couple times at least. He entered the wrong checking account in to his computer which he should have rechecked but mistakes happen. But then when I checked with the IRS and it said it was deposited but I didn’t get it without checking he just made up a story. He then said through Corporate office we would get a refund of the $159.00 we spent for the preparation of our taxes to be mishandled and delayed. We didn’t receive it. He said it would take six to eight weeks. Nothing yet! That was March this is June! Then when I asked to talk to his supervisor he said he couldn’t give out her number. Then when I asked for the Corporate number he said he didn’t have it! Don’t trust this guy, this company. I tried reaching to numbers I found online with no luck.

Went to H&R Block in Salem, Ohio and they have never failed me in getting back money that I was owed. Very caring, kind and friendly.

You will not get a straight answer from them about any issues you may have. Money will still be owed to you from filing. When i took my following years W2s to another accountant they found mistakes and money owed to me still. I can understand 1 year but 3 years of getting the run around between them and another 3rd party accountant due to their lack of effort to resolve an issue years ago. Will not be back, and i highly do NOT recommend them
