Ms. Shawn, at the front desk was amazing! She was very pleasant and professional. My family and I stayed here for two nights last week, the breakfast bar was very nice as well. Lastly, we enjoyed being able to swim outside while we were in the hot tub! Good experience overall.

Arrived for a 4pm reservation, and the room wasn't ready. Was told they would text when it was ready. Hour and a half later, there is no text. Called the front desk, and they said they've texted everyone that their rooms were ready. So, I wasn't the only one. Room heat didn't work, tile flooring in rooms, no carpet. Power banks in room didn't work. Golf balls and trash behind night stand. There was no hand soap in bathroom. (We brung our own). First and last time going here. Would not recommend.

Great place, great price. We did go somewhere else for dinner and took snacks. Food here is pricey but I still recommend!

Overall, we had a good experience. Family of 4 with a 3&5 year old. It's not top of the line and prices reflect that. The prices also reflect convenience. We purchased a family fun package type deal. We also got ice cream, while it was convenient, for 4 cones it was $25. Upon checking in, our room wasn't ready until 530. That was a little inconvenient. While we waited for our room we did our included bowling putt putt and arcade. We went into the waterpark until about 830. Got showers and ordered our included pizza and cheesy garlic bread. They said it would be 20 minutes, it took 55. They apologized and gave us a free brownie since we waited so long, without asking for anything. We took advantage of some of the activities, the steel drums and kids bedtime dance party. The room was perfect for our one night stay. Our fridge and microwave worked. I liked no carpet. It's a waterpark after all. The air temperature was chilly but the water itself wasn't too bad. Overall, my kids had a lot of fun. We'd consider coming back.

The water park was freezing. The beds were super uncomfortable. There aren’t enough elevators for that size hotel. Kids had fun but will not be going

Tried something different this year, as other indoor water park resorts are so expensive. We had a blast! The resort has been renovated and it is very cool. Something for everyone. We are a family of 4 with a 12 and 13 year old. It is just big enough, yet small enough that it is not overwhelming. It does not offer all of the amenities as the big resorts but I think it is just right! We bowled, rode slides, wave pool, visited the attached restaurant, shopped at the little store, ate ice cream. We really enjoyed our time!Noteworthy details: The lifeguards are very thorough!

Our family does water parks all the time. This was the worst one we have traveled to. Started off by taking 30 minutes to check in with only 2 families in front of us. I then asked if they could change the card I had on file. It was my debit and i wasn't getting paid until the next day. They took the new card I wanted charged and charged the old one resulting in an overdraft fee but didn't tell me this until I seen the wrong card charges. Go to the room and go to get the keys. Asked for 4 and got 2. Go get the other 2 and they don't work. Those were reprogrammed a total of 3 times then they also had to change the battery in the door at 10pm. Room is small as hell which we had upgraded the room when we booked. 2 full beds and a pull out chair. No carpet. Room looks like a preschool classroom. Our 19 year old decided to not come last minute which if he did this upgraded room wouldn't had worked. Small fridge no freezer no closet door. Couldn't use our 18 month olds teethers cuz they melted. Asked for 2 pillows and 1 blanket and they had none left. Heater\ac is very loud and goes on and off constantly.Go to the pool and were told we can't use a puddle jumper which everywhere else lets us bring our own. The manager was nice enough to give us one only after my wife slipped and busted her knee. Staff were pretty rude about any we brought up til then. Next morning I couldn't believe the breakfast was 17 bucks lol. We went to McDonald's for 25 dollars instead. After 2 days of the pool the temperature of the water is all over the place. Not warm enough for toddlers. Breezes and fans blowing cold air so just stay in the water. Go to the arcade and half the claw machines are rigged. We have played 100s. 2 the claw doesn't close and a few the claw opens as it brings the prize so it drops right before. Many games have the card reader in a weird spot so you double scan games. Games are more expensive than Dave and busters. Manager argued with me when he showed me my 17 year olds daughters card was empty but showed 12 multiple scans. Was going to get ice cream until I say it was 5 bucks for 1 a small 1 scoop and 75 cents a topping. For the price this place is risky dink and see why it's a 3 star. My wife booked it and if I would have read the reviews first I would have went to a motel 6 with a pool instead. Alot of the guest are rude. Loud take up the whole hallways stand in entrances or exits when you are walking. Staff don't tell them to move and then get mad at the people asking to get thru. The elevators are the slowest in the world. Taking the stairs was fasting with carrying all our bags. At least there you get a free breakfast. We will stick to Zenders and Kalahari. Pretty disappointed that this is what cedar point offers. My wife said she has been here and it was not like this before. Never again

My family and I just said there this weekend. The Waterpark was so much fun, my kids loved it. They had a great time. Unfortunately, the suite room we stayed in (total of 7 of us) was nasty. The room wasn't clean, there was a ring around the tub, and poop on the side of the toilet and the seat was broken and there was chip crumbs on the floor in the bun bed area and around the safe. I was so disappointed, I called the front desk, and they sent someone, but they only wiped up the poop from the toilet. Disgusting. My friend who stayed just a few doors down also said her room was dirty like it wasn't swept or vacuumed. Waterpark gave us skin infection all over.

Our skin was wrecked by the Water Park! Extremely itchy for days and rashes all over! We stayed 2 nights. My 3 year old was in agony by day 3. My husband didn't want to get back in after the first day, but our daughter got him to go in one more time.My husband and I were ready to go after the first few hours. We are lazy river people. I can't believe there's no lazy river! Also, very cold most of the time. The life guards were REALLY WEIRD! They all had identical pacing and weird, spot-check, head rolls for scanning the water. Never got used to it. I had to try really hard to ignore them.No coffee pots in the rooms! Their explanation... We sell Starbucks. Honestly! That's a hotel standard!!!!All food and beverages were insanely expensive!Just go to Great Wolf. They are WAY better! More fun. More friendly! More affordable. No robot lifeguards! Warmer water. Also, no chemical burns from the water. IMAGINE THAT!Food & drinks: EXPENSIVENoteworthy details: Chemical burns from Water Park.

We had a room with 3 kids. We left an iPad in the room charging unattended. Come back, iPad AND charger are gone. Contacted hotel management and they told us to fill out a lost item report or something to that affect. THIS item was STOLEN from our room by house keeping, presumably, as no one else had a room key. Manager informed me he could not look at the cameras. Staff was free to go home at shift change with no more investigation by the hotel, no camera review, and the manager continuing to declare our iPad as “missing”. It was STOLEN, by staff presumably.Sandusky police and Cedar Point police are involved at this point. They had a theft incident in 2019 where money was taken from a children’s baseball teams’ wallets.. and there was an arrest. Not the first time, not the last apparently.I’ve never had anything come up stolen at a hotel, ever. This is ridiculous and I will post an update when/ if the employee(s) are apprehended. There was a camera in view of the room and the manager said he could not review the footage.

My wife and I took our kids here. All in all they had fun, the waterpark is actually pretty decent, especially that the indoor hot tub connects to the outdoor one. The room wasn't all that great, the beds were uncomfortable. I wouldn't advise going to the breakfast bar in the morning, it's the same quality items you'd find in a complimentary breakfast at a chain hotel, but you have to pay $18 for it here.
