Stayed here over Christmas break. This place is so family and kid friendly. The smaller size makes it much more manageable for families with smaller kids. The quest with the wands were a hit. Also the activities in the lobby. Festive holiday decorations. Overall great time. The extras do add up, expect to pay more for a lot of the added fun things.Rooms: The rooms were spacious and clean.

Great get away for families. Hotel was at 97% capacity and you would never know it. Rooms are huge and can easily fit 6 people.Pool side food was pretty good. Burgers and fries.

Ok, this is a very late review as we went in July. But, I was blown away by everything from the staff to the room to the pizza place on site to the water park features. I only wish the hot tub was hotter ?I took my 10 year old daughter and one of her friends to celebrate my daughter turning double digits. The girls experienced Everything from the Magi Quest to Build A Bear to staying up late in the family suite eating junk food and watching TV.We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. I think one of the coolest things is that even after check out you are able to stay and enjoy the rest of the day swimming and eating at the lodge. That's a huge plus to me. I love the wrist bands as well, very convenient. The arcade had a great variety of games, our favorite was the motorcycle and Jurassic Park.I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The staff was amazing. Pleasant and super helpful. The room was gorgeous. I paid extra for the birthday special and it did not disappoint! You gave us memories of a lifetime! As a matter of fact, I booked us 2 more nights for Christmas break and I haven't stopped hearing about, "How many more days until we go back to GWL, mom!??" since October ?Cannot wait! Thank you for an amazing experience ?Rooms: The room was very clean and accommodating. Even the bed was surprisingly comfortable, and I'm disabled. The fireplace was perfect and I can't wait to use it this upcoming visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Food & drinks: The pizza place was delicious! The restaurant was really good too, I had one of the best burgers I've ever had! The food may be pricey, but you definitely get good portions. And with the rooms having a decent as size refrigerator and microwave you can always take left overs back to room. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's definitely more for kids. Everything is pricey, but the kids will enjoy it. The rooms are nice but there is no shower head. The entertainment after pool hours were closed for the children was great. Everyone enjoyed it.

I'm so impressed with our entire stay. All the staff was friendly. At the front desk we were checked in quickly and our wrist bands were our room key and linked to our credit card so we didnt have to carry it around. There were many activities such as yoga, character encounters, and a snow fall show. Our room was clean and spacious. The life guards were all attentive and there were drills being ran daily which I appreciated greatly.

Had a great experience during our stay. The resort was clean, the staff was helpful, the room had everything we needed. We took advantage of the Dunkin Donuts on site which was a great addition. Our group was a bit older, having 2 teenage boys, but they had plenty of activities to keep them entertained. Overall, two thumbs up ? ?

My son and his friends had a great time! The life guards were excellent at watching every area for safety. I felt extremely safe with the level of lifeguards. When someone was unsafe they let the person know in a nice way. I definitely recommend this place. There are numerous activities available in the lobby area.

We were greeted by the friendly staff members at the front desk…they were phenomenal. Once we got to the room there was fries on the dresser, coins on the floor, and arcade tickets on the floor as well. It appeared the room was not ever cleaned. We immediately went back to the front desk and they placed us in another room. This room was gross as well! There was food, a battery charger and toys in our kids bunk beds. We made the best of the situation because we were out of town but they are clearly not cleaning these rooms. Water park was great though. First time and last time here!

The fruit was pre-mixed and had pineapple which my wife Is allergic too. And some how got cross Contaminated with her drink. We are okay as she only had a very mild reaction. The water park is small but very fun. My nephew and children ages 2 to 10 had a blast. The arcade was very fun. And the children enjoyed the pup pass. So they also got a build-a-bear and a few others great treats. Off all the vacations and trips we have taken. The room was by far the best we have ever stayed in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE KIDS CABIN SUITE. Multiple life guards for most pools and the staff are always watching for safety first. This was a great experience!.Food & drinks: The food is a little expensive, but the breakfast pass was worth it. And we went out for dinner and had lunch in our room to help save a little.

My family had a wonderful stay. Are rooms were very clean, staff were wonderful and my children had an amazing time at the water park. I'm incredibly thankful of that the pool offers accommodations as a bracelet for my child with autism. The lifeguards were extra patient with him and made sure to keep an eye on him due to him being a runner. Thank you for hiring caring and patient people.

***This review is specifically for the water park because we only did a day pass and did not stay at the hotel***The staff at the front desk were amazing, kind, and helpful. Changing rooms were clean and easily accessible inside the water park. The lockers were decent but expect to pay around $15 for a decent sized locker. No cash is accepted anywhere inside the hotel or park so be aware of that. The water park itself is okay. Not very large. Plenty of seating. We paid $60 per person for a day pass which seemed a bit much for what was available. But we felt like one day at the actual water park was plenty. One basic pool. A hot tub area. The slides were okay, a couple smaller ones for the little kiddos, a few bigger ones and of course 2 larger slides for inner tubes. There are plenty of inner tubes available for you to use on the slides or lazy river. One person and two person inner tubes available. The lazy river is pretty sad though. Very very small. So small it's almost comical. But yet it was my 8 year old son's favorite part. Go figure! ? Life jackets are available as well as towels which you can get any any time you need. They are even warmed which is greatly appreciated! There's a small outdoor pool area which was my favorite spot because it was so much more quieter than inside. So if you get overwhelmed with noises, you can get away for a bit. ?There is one small little eatery inside the water park where we grabbed lunch. Standard hot dog/hamburger/fries food. An average meal cost about $12 which I didn't think was too bad considering the convenience. They do serve alcoholic beverages if that's your thing. Staff there seemed overwhelmed at the time though and they forgot about our drinks but were very kind when we reminded them. No biggie. It happens! The lifeguards were extremely attentive which was nice to see. They had no issues blowing their whistle if some kids were being unsafe. I appreciated that. The quality of the park is definitely starting to show signs of aging. Chipping paint and broken items in the "fort" climbing structure. But kids won't care or notice. On our way out we stopped at a little candy store right by the reception desk and my son got a cup of candy for $18. ? (The things you do for your kids, eh?) But again, the staff there were amazing. If there's one thing Great Wolf Lodge does right, it's hiring amazing people and doing a good job training them! There are SO many other things to do inside the hotel that we skipped simply because of cost and time constraints so if you do choose to stay at the hotel there is so much to do, your kids will never be bored. That's about it. We had fun and you've never been to a Great Wolf Lodge before it's definitely worth checking out. But skip the day pass and just book an overnight stay to get your money's worth.

The room was really nice and the people were very friendly. There was so much for the kids to do. There was a good choice of food and drinks. The hotel is also located near quite a few restaurants just in case you don't want the food that is offered at the hotel. The water park was huge and it was fun for the whole family.

Room & bathroom was very clean, staff was great. Kevin at the front desk made check in great! Only complaint is how early everything closes. We were here for cedar point like I’d imagine a lot of other guests are you can can either get a full day at the park or you can swim but you cannot do both. Outdoor pool closes at 7, whole indoor park at 8, bar at 9. We sat down at the bar at 8:45 & the bar tender got to our 2 beer order at 9:02 & told us we had to take it to go. She was very friendly I just found it odd that there was a whole party going on in the lobby yet everything was closed. Overall great stay comfy beds, mostly quiet rooms, would stay here again.

The room was cute (we booked the one with a bunked bed for kids), but the balcony and bathroom was a little outdated. The noise level was high, you will be waking up by the kids who live above you and next to you early in the morning, so make sure you bring your earplugs!! The pillow and bed were okay, not as comfortable compared to other hotels we stayed before. We love the indoor & outdoor pool, and when your kids are tired of the pool, they have other entertainment inside the hotel to keep your kids entertained. The location was pretty good, next to lots of restaurants and grocery stores.

Best last minute family get away! My boys loved it! Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Pool and slides were nice and clean. Definitely something we will do again. My boys loved the atmosphere and all the extras. In house restaurants were good. If you're eating on a budget, seek external restaurants.
