Although we had to wait 4 months for our La-Z-Boy sofa we were excited to receive it! The store said they would "leave it in the box." For other customers who purchase, there is no box. It is plastic wrapped. We got a good deal on our sofa, as the salesman matched the price of another furniture store. We had to make arrangement to pick up our sofa because "no one was in the warehouse" when we wanted to come. However, no one was there when we came on the scheduled date and we had to help our salesman load the sofa, which was very heavy. (He dropped his end). Also, when we picked up our sofa that day, we were interested in a love seat. After the salesman told us the cost, I questioned it with another associate. There was a price difference. The salesman basically told us that because we got a good deal on the sofa, we would be paying more for the love seat. Needless to say, we bought our La-Z-Boy love seat from another furniture store that had it in stock. We will not be purchasing from this store again.

I ordered a bradington sofa and two reclining chairs from Hermans and I had terrible experience with the store and particularly the owner. I ordered the furniture in August 2021. I was given a March 2022 delivery date. More than a month after placing the order and paying the deposit, the sales person called me and said the sofa leather was discontinued. At that point I had already ordered a rug and coordinating chairs making it difficult to choose a replacement. Why didnt the sales rep confirm the leather color at the time of deposit??? When March 2022 came the sales rep called me saying there was a delay until April. In fact there were multiple other delays and the sofa was not delivered until August 2022 The sales rep never bothered to proactively call me with updates. Each time I had to call her after multiple missed delivery dates Additionally the sofa was initially delivered with a broken electric part for the reclining seat. Finally when the chairs were in, more than 1 year after ordering I called the store and asked for a discount for the second delivery charge and the lack of information. The extremely rude owner called and tried to say we're not going to sell you the chairs now, even though I had a sales contact and paid a deposit for the chairs. Unbelievable!! He finally agreed to deliver the chairs but said he wasn't going to handle any warranty issues even though that's the stores responsibility according to the manufacturer. Save yourself a lot of hassle buy from somewhere else!

Weeks within receiving our two chairs and ottoman the fabric color completely bleached out where water, diluted dish soap, and a cleaning fabric came in contact. They tested the fabric and said it was not defective. ALL but one cleaning product was recommended for cleaning by the brand. They blamed the stains on the fabric cleaner and did not acknowledge the stains from water and the diluted dish soap. When Herman’s tried to recreate the stains on their own fabric with our bottle of fabric cleaner they could not recreate the stain, the stain only happened on the defective fabric given to us. We have used this same bottle on many of our furniture fabrics and clothing and it has never left a stain. Herman's resolution was for us to pay for new slip covers at cost, however we do not think it is fair to give Herman’s more money because they gave us defective fabric. It is also not reasonable to purchase new fabric that would likely have the same staining issues. The couch is also frayed along the seam after one wash.We have been very patient and kind and have given them almost a year to resolve this issue and they have not.We highly recommend taking your buisness elsewhere as Herman's furniture does not stand behind the products they sell.

I ordered a Bradington Young sofa and two swivel chairs August 2021. I was quoted a March 2022 delivery.Two months into the order, the sales rep called me saying the leather was discontinued even though it was a current choice when I placed the order and I wasn't notified then of any issues.There were significant delays in the order. The Hermans sales rep did not provide timely information about the delays instead I had to call the store repeatedly for information.Ten months into the order the sales rep called to say the swivel was "unavailable and they didn't know when it would be in stock" and they asked if I wanted to cancel the order...(really after waiting 10 months).Finally the sofa was delivered after 1 full year of waiting. The swivel chairs took another month. I asked the owner for a discount due to delays and more importantly poor information from the store.At this point after the chairs were in the Hermans store the owner Threatened to Cancel my order and only agreed to deliver the chairs based on no store level warranty even though Bradingtons policy is 1 year warranty.I had a terrible experience working with Herman's especially with the threatening message from the owner.Buy from somewhere else!

Such a great store! In a time when so many purchases are done thru the internet it is nice to have this really good furniture store available to us. All the staff are knowledgeable and talented designers. Highly reccamend Hermans

Long established furniture store with a good reputation. I recently bought a Lazy Boy chair and had some problems with it. They IMMEDIATELY sent a gentleman out to look at it. Parts had to be ordered and upon arrival the chair was set back to its original condition. Very pleased with the polite and efficient treatment that I received. I have bought from them before, and certainly will buy from them again in the future.

We just purchased a wonderful sofa and ottoman made right here in Ohio by Norwalk Furniture. Our saleswoman, Genevieve Everett was warm, creative, knowledgeable, and terrific! I'd recommend Herman's Furniture and our saleswoman highly!!

We have decided to replace our sunroom furniture. We stopped into Herman's because we had never been there. Maureen greeted us and let us browse without being pushy. We ended up buying custom furniture from Norwalk. Maureen was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the design process...it was a great experience.
