Inferior, poor quality work, incompetent worker. Wasted 6 weeks for what took another shop to do in basically a day! Took art work in (that had actually been created by a draftsman while working at another silk screen shop). J & R said art work needed to be revised into a different format by my original draftsman. So had to contact draftsman, who had since moved out of state. A few weeks later he sent them artwork in another format. J and R said artwork still needed to be revised by original draftsman. So again had to have the original draftsman get in contact with J and R to revise artwork. Took J & R another 3-4 days to do a silk screen and print a sample shirt. The silk screen was soooo sloppily done - color placement didn't match-up with design, outline of the wording poorly done, etc... Plus the design was waaay too small - only 8 inches instead of the normal 10 1/2 or more (as shirts were for all adults sizes including many XL - 3XL sizes). I asked J & R to please enlarge design. They said they couldn't, 8 in was as large as they could do. I had worked with other silk screen shops and never heard of this problem. Eventually they said, that if I wanted it larger I'd have to have my original drafsman re-do the design point by point, and separate out this and that ?? .... So, I then immediately went to another silk screen shop (Screen Printing Unlimited) and not only were they able to use the original artwork, they had no problem making it larger. And just 3 days later and with absolutely no hassles, I had all my shirts. They looked sooo much better than the inferior silk screen shirts, J & R had done. Plus, they were cheaper, as well! Oh, and funny thing, after I left J & R, they called me the next day. The worker there said she had her daughter enlarge the silkscreen to 11 inches and she would print me up another shirt sample. Hmmm, apparently she didn't t know how to do her job or was too lazy to do it ( or a combination of both) and for 6 weeks she kept having me get my original draftsman do what she should have been able to do.
