I stayed here off season and the one take away I have is that I had a very clean room. I got the king jacuzzi suite and it didn't disappoint. Location was great, and there's a starbucks a mile away for those interested. Check in and check out was easy.
The only gripe I have is that the man running the counter at check in wasn't really interested in being there. I was very courteous and excited, but this guy had some attitude and was just generally very unhappy. The woman was very nice though. I'd recommend staying here, but checking in is the only negative experience I had.

Very clean room, solid breakfast! Service is always great here! Noisy at night but we were on the motel side, so not much you can expect there. We will definitely be back!!

do NOT stay here if you have littles. I stayed here with my family over the weekend and my ONE YEAR OLD daughter had a blow out on a top layer of the sheets I attempted to clean the rest with a rag and they charged me $50 due to “the room being messed up” one sheet and 1 wash cloth was the entire room being messed up. I attempted to call and the worker so extremely rude and would not allow me to talk to manager and stated that I would have to wait until Friday when I asked his name to verify Friday that I called he refused. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AS A BUSSINESS. Especially over things I couldn’t control.

It was clean. It looked nice in the room. There was a raised foot plate at the door that was a tripping hazard. The fridge was unplugged and unfortunately smelled when opened. There really should have been coffee for a place that normally has breakfast during season. Coffee would have been a nice gesture even though there were only a couple guests in the whole place including us. It could have been a really great visit but had small frustrations. Probably better in summer time, when busier.

The hotel room was affordable and clean, ideal for our purposes. The location is fantastic right near Cedar Point. The breakfast was really disappointing, however, and if we stay here again I would just not bother with it.

We stayed at South Shore Inn for a two day trip to Cedar Point. The location is very convenient, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and came as expected. The breakfast was good and my kids enjoyed the fish tank in the lobby. I would definitely stay here with my family again!

Staying here tonight with my 4 year old, and I am very impressed how clean the rooms are. Spotless! Comfy beads, plenty of pillows! Right down the street from cedar point so great location. Looking forward to breakfast in the morning! A great place to stay deff worth it! :)

The place is comfortable enough. Beds seemed clean. Breakfast provided..
For what it is.. its alright and tastes good.
Mini fridge and microwave in room. Alarm has outlets and USB built in. The place is a good spot to let the head hit the bed.
they work hard and earnest.
Food is pretty much all carbs (pancakes, bread, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, mini muffins, cream cheese, sugary jelly, syrups, butter, activia yogurt, mini brownies). Fresh bananas and apples available. Hard-boiled eggs.
Coffee machine with hot water, decaf, and regular...
Half and half packets, French vanilla non dairy creamers...
Orange juice from concentrate and apple juice from concentrate.

Did a quick trip to CP and needed a place to crash after all day SV+MF runs. Power napped it for 6h and woke up fully refreshed and ready for the drive back.
For the price/location/need, this place is great.

Great location to cedar point. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but a nice touch. Bathroom comes with shampoo and soap. My only complaint was the very hard bed.
