All in all it's a pretty cozy hotel and walk time to CP is pretty short. The restaurants inside are expensive. You can have Dominoes pizza delivery directly to your room, also expensive.

It's a fine place. Just be warned it's over run with children. We did not do our due diligence when we looked it up. Not for us kid-less adults.

Paid big $$ to get a suite. It was very nice but we did find food wrappers and food half eaten under the fold out sofa, gross. Air conditioner barely worked. Outdoor pool was green with algae so we passed on using it.

My mom and I stayed at Hotel Breakers during HalloWeekends. Normally it’s unlike either of us to post a negative review; however, because our experience was a threat to our health, I think it is important to share. We almost didn’t book when we learned we’d be paying $360 for one night, but we ended up saying, “what the heck,” and going for it. Neither of us have much in the way of money, but we were excited to do something special. Unfortunately the lady at the front desk was very short with us and seemed almost angry that we were booking a stay. But hey, we all have bad days — no big deal.We were most excited about using the outdoor hot tub — pretty much the selling point for spending so much money. This is where things began to really bum us out.We tried each of the 2 outdoor hot tubs, but both were filled, and I mean filled, with bugs. I get it, we’re outside, but we felt that if this type of incentive/amenity is being offered, it is important to provide appropriate upkeep so that guests can enjoy what they’ve paid for. I ended up locating a pool skimmer and tried cleaning the hot tub out myself, but no matter how many hundreds of bugs I removed, clouds of them kept pouring out from the filters. We tried to find a safe corner to sit in for at least a couple minutes, but felt our skin beginning to burn and itch. A nice couple got in to join us but quickly got out claiming their skin was burning/itchy, too. We got out when they did and made our way back to our room, where upon looking in the mirror I discovered my bathing suit was completely bleached to a lighter shade. This is when we realized we had been soaking in a super unsafe amount of chemical/bleach — assumingly haphazardly tossed in to combat the bug issue. This was really concerning. Our skin was dried out and red for days. :-(Photos are included just to give an idea of what color the suit used to be (I wore the black top from one set and the green bottoms from the other). I believe you may have to click on my name at the top of this post in order to view the photos. It’s really a shame to see a place that charges such astronomical prices fail to keep their facilities maintained or at the very least, safe, for guests. We felt really let down and sadly left feeling defeated (and very itchy) instead of reflecting on the fun had at the park. I just hope my post is seen by CP management and can contribute toward an improved experience for others.

Loved it !!! Nice clean and comfy rooms. I preferred 1st floor but others book the above floors to look at the beach and waves on higher floors. If you go during HALLOWEEK bring some cute decorations and lights.

We had a great stay. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy. We love Cedar Point and it was great having somewhere we could rest and reboot for a bit. We were celebrating our “birthaversary” (my husband’s birthday and our 5 yr wedding anniversary) and the staff surprised us with balloons and Snoopy stuffed animals. So sweet and thoughtful. Even though we live close enough to the park to not need a hotel, we plan to build this into our experience moving forward.Walkability: So fantastic to be feet away from the North Coast.

Stayed there 9/22-9/24. My friends and I have stayed here before and had a good time with a clean, and well maintained room. This time was different. WE got there and realized we had a balcony, the only issue was that we overlooked an employee area and it did not add much to our room, but not a necessarily a negative. The beds were clean and so were the bathrooms, but by the time we started making our food before we went to the park we realized that the sink in our kitchen drained really slowly. Very noticeable and not entirely a problem except the same was true for the tub in the bathroom. Two very slow drains which became a problem when we all tried to shower after our days at the park. Another problem we encountered was with our microwave, the rotator was broken, the center plate was not off the mark, it was simply broken. Now we could still heat things up but it was significantly slower than what it should be. Lastly the tv guide we were given and the channels did not correspond. The extensions for the various services were also wrong or didn't work. It's a shame seeing that we have had a good time before but a series of inconveniences have led to such a low rating. The front desk service and the workers as a whole are fantastic, just needs to be invested on the companies half.

Let me just preface this review to say, my family and I have stayed at Hotel Breakers 1-2 times a year (sometimes more) for about 6-7 years now. We have always had good experiences, most of the time . The rooms are sometimes pretty small but I mean, we're here for the Cedar Point experience, not to spend all of our time in the room. We booked a 2 night stay for Halloweekends (we are currently here) and this room is a complete sh*t show. I'm pretty sure are sheets were clean (I always check) but legit nothing else was cleaned. There was hair all over the bathroom floor (which I cleaned up), a ring starting to form in the toilet, and the absolute worst part was when I stepped into the shower...the shower curtain had a huge ball of dark hair rolled into it. I almost lost my dinner. My wife went down and complained and they offered to move our room but we are checking out in like 9 hours so it doesn't make sense to pack it all up and move it just to sleep somewhere else.Knowing us, we will just chalk it up to a bad experience and hopefully it will be cleaner next time but I'm definitely going to be checking everything before settling in for the stay. I must say, the front desk staff and others we have encountered in all of our trips have been lovely. Maybe this was just a fluke?? I sure hope so!! We really do enjoy staying here and having such close proximity to the park!!PS, I was planning on including the nasty photo I took inside the shower but I don't think anyone wants to see that!

Courtney at the surf lounge is amazing and attentive, I never waited once. She is kind, interesting and very good at her job. I was impressed by everything, but she is an asset to your establishment. Courtney should get a raise for the way she was to me. But everyone was amazing.Rooms: The only thing I didn't like about the room is you need to take a plane to the side, so it closes on it's own.Safety: I felt 100% safe. I didn't even bring a knife or any sort of weapon.Food & drinks: The food and drinks ate amazing.

Rooms were nice but nothing special. The rooms are clean. The beds were the hardest I have ever had in any hotel I have ever stayed at. It gave new meaning to "firm". Waking up with a backache was not fun. The floor is softer than the bed. It's nice to have restaurants downstairs. Also nice not to have to worry about parking your car every visit.

We had a wonderful room. It was clean, the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is small but we could make it bigger by closing doors, it was a family suite. We had a small fridge, a microwave, kitchenette area. It was very quiet on the 4th floor. Our view was not pretty but we were not in the room for that anyway. We were there for Halloweekend and it was fun. We didn’t get housekeeping but we didn’t ask. If you needed it you were supposed to. No big deal for us, good to know for future trips. Every staff member we encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The pool wasn’t very warm and needs cleaning. It was too chilly to swim outdoors and sadly the beach was closed due to rough waters and winds. They have great ice cream, Perkins restaurant, and others we didn’t use. Love it here. Very convenient.

Everything is great, great location and everything you’d want. Best way to see the park and end the day.I would point out that the beach was rather dirty and disgusting (dead fish, garbage, debris). I was expecting it to have more of beach resort vibe as you’d find in Europe or the Caribbean, but it’s lacking.Rooms: Clean, updated, tasteful.Safety: Clean, safe. Can’t see what issues you’d have here.Walkability: It’s about a 5 min. Walk to the park, and it’s a side / private entrance.Food & drinks: Good bar to end the day inside the hotel.Seems like the sand bar is a daytime only venue.Noteworthy details: If you have fast pass / meal plan it’s not really clear on the process (you need to get your passes in the park), which seemed a little counter intuitive and should be able to do it at front desk upon checkin. They do have bag storage if you check in early in the day.

Best Place to stay when you are visiting Cedar Point. Many different room styles and amenities available however they are not all located in the same building so if you are staying with a group of people make sure your room types can all be near each other. Beach is right out back of the hotel and several restaurants, Starbucks, and a pizza place are located on site.Walkability: Right next to Cedar Point

We absolutely love hotel breakers. It is a little pricey but if you can swing it, it is worth the extra $. The staff are very friendly, & helpful. The beach is so beautiful & the gas fire pits are a nice touch. At the end of a long day of fun at the park it is nice to grab a drink ant the hotel bar and decompress on the beach watching all the lights from the rides at the boardwalk. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. A+

Great place to stay and have quick access to the park or the beach. You really can’t go wrong with staying here- places to eat, places to dessert, lake life, pool, workout room is well stocked with equipment, quiet, sleep friendly, lots of parking. The only thing I’d say to be aware of is: bring the walking shoes unless all you want to do is stare at the waves. I mean, amusement parks equal walking from ride to ride and in this case it’s a short walk from room to rides. Staff super helpful, even when it’s crowded it has space so doesn’t feel crowded. They do up the place right. Not just a hotel..a resort.
