Got these done last night and paid $73 dollars for a fill and fix. First of all, the lady who did them was very rude. My middle finger nail was broken and I wanted a glitter pink/nude acrylic powder, the lady showed me the dry powder in the jar and I said yea it looked pretty. (Obviously, it changed colors once wet and applied) Well, she waited to do my middle finger nail fix for the last nail she did and the appearance was much darker than all the other nails, mind you I wanted French tip. I initially got my full set done at a different salon, so without proper knowledge I was unaware that the original color of my acrylic powder would make a difference in my existing nails appearance vs the fix. I mentioned I did not like the mismatched appearance and would like to know how to fix it. Owner then came over and helped us find a solution but was very rude about it and said she heard me say I liked the color (again, I did on all my other nails). So we painted them the closest color they had to match the initial look I was hoping for, then they did my French tip and glitter outline. On my design nail pictured with the initial ādā and the heart, there is literal lint stuck under the paint of my nail as well as the design isnāt what I asked for. I wanted the design closer to the tip of the nail (which I described and asked for twice) and she did it just in the middle. Overall, I had a horrible experience and paid too much money for some nails that Iāve seen glue ons look better than. Theyāre chunky, uneven, my pinky nail is filed so poorly itās crooked, my cuticles are dry and beat up, the paint job is bad and feels almost sticky, and Iām left disappointed and wanting to just take the nails off. Customer service and quality here are both horrible. Go to modern nails instead. Stopped in to speak with someone about getting even half of the money spent refunded because of quality and was told to call the police if I want and theyāre not giving me any money back. Donāt come here

They took my kid right away with ten minutes notice at 6pm with NO appointment- when she suddenly decided she MUST have acrylic nails for her birthday.

I had scheduled an appointment the day beforeā¦ I traveled 45 mns to this appointment. Set my alarm to be there on time Then to get there 5 mns early so I donāt be late. The lady puts me in a chair to do a pedicure. Iām soaking my feet waiting on my technician. NO one comes to me and says weālll be with you momentarily. NO-ONE
I waited 25+ minutes.
!! I leave. Then I call. The lady said well sheās just now finished up.
Doesnāt make it right w me or apologize. Iām very disappointed I really liked this establishment. Getting a pedicure or manicure is very hard to come by. Iām very selective who or where I go too.

Very over priced for services. Owner very snooty. Techs rush and do not do quality work. Many other places in Sandusky to get quality work.

I love TJ Nails and only trust them with my nails. I get acrylic dip and like my nails in a short square. Tammy gets it perfect every time. My daughter sees Tam for acrylic tips and they have lasted way longer for her since she started going to him. One of the reasons I really like this salon is that it doesnāt have that horrible chemical smell that I have experienced at another area nail salon.

I got my nails done here twice in the past month. The original set wasnāt great, very uneven but I was recommended to a different tech there so I decided to try again. This is what they left me with. Wildly uneven and so thick I couldnāt manage normal tasks with my hands. I had to go somewhere else to get them fixed. When I called and asked for a refund (I sent them pictures) they called me back with an attitude and told me that since I didnāt have them fix them, they wouldnāt give me a refund. āYou didnāt even give us a chanceā Why on earth would I give you a third chance? DO NOT go here. Thereās too many other places to āgive a chanceā to.

Gave me lumpy nails and dry cuticles. They said the sparkle color I had picked out was gone and substituted it with a clear sparkle. Then when I realized it wasn't an actual color instead of fixing it they clumped color coat over top of it. Now I have clumpy nails for my wedding. They didn't even do anything to my cuticle except drill them off and dry them out. My nails look worse than they did before I went in. And over charged me for just a polish change since they didn't do anything to my cuticles

Walked in on a Thursday w a friend for a pedicure. Wasn't sure if we needed an appointment, but got that impression. Regardless they got us both in within 10 minutes and service and pedi was great! Nice place!
