Giving this a two stars, only because my sisters nails actually looked really good. I got a full acrylic set put on with gel black french tips. Not a single finger matched, the shape wasn’t even what I asked for. My thumb nails didn’t even have much length to them at all. I did ask for them to be shorter with a little length but my right thumb had zero length and was way shorter than all of the others. The tip part itself were different widths. I asked her to fix them a few times but still didn’t do what I wanted and looked nothing like the picture I showed.

The nail tech we had wasn't great and wasn't that nice. I had a nail pop off not even a week after getting them done. I ended up going somewhere else to get them redone and make them cuter. I wouldn't recommend going there unless you're getting it done by the owners.

Very clean, cozy atmosphere. One of the better experiences I have had here. Cierra (I think I spelled her name wrong) was so kind, and awesome. So happy with her and her work!

I have never left a poor review for a place before, but I felt the need to share my experience here. I had my nails done and felt as though I was being completely rushed through and the nails reflected that. The polish wasn't lined up well and almost every nail had crooked parts that the polish got skipped where you could see acrylic under. I then went back after they grew out and requested a different lady who did a nice job but the design I picked was done a little messy and I wasn't happy with it, but not wanting to hurt feelings I kept it thinking the next time would be better. Then later that night the one hands gel all smudged as if it didn't cure correctly so I called and made another appointment to have it fixed. They got me in right away and I asked to just start fresh with a plain polish as the gel smudged and the design didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it. They agreed but while filing I started to bleed in a spot and it hurt. She said sorry but still proceeded, not having me go wash my hands or anything. She got my blood on her hand and then got it on another finger of mine while continuing my nails. She also kept touching all of her tools, the polish bottles and brushed my hands with the same brush I know she uses on all the clients while my blood was on both of our hands at this point. I in my head decided I would not be back as I get that things happened and you may get cut on accident but part of being a professional is knowing how to take care of it for the health and safety of everyone. I was THEN charged for my visit even though it was a correction. I asked if it was usual even though they smudged and weren't correct the first time (she asked the manager and they said yes). I left basically in tears and cancelled my further appointments. Nothing feels worse than trying to do something nice for yourself and the whole ordeal just continually getting worse. I hate to leave poor reviews for somewhere local especially when I know it's been a rough time for any business but this just felt completely wrong. In total it ended up costing me $100 for a simple set of acrylics taking 2 appointments and contaminating many things in the shop.Service: Acrylic nails

Great place! We were inSandusky on vacation and found some time for my husband to go get much needed pedis...we started our venture to find some where before they even opened and even then we kept getting turned away without an appointment. Finally we found TJ Nails and they were very accommodating. They didn't make us feel like a bother for just walking in like most places would. I was very happy with my pedi and I will back any time I need a pedi in this area.Service: Pedicure

Horrible service terrible wait times the owner doesnt honor appointments and if you ask for something to be fixed she will call you too picky and skip you over! I will also mention you should check your reciepts bc I was overcharged! I came in for a polish change and was charged for a full gel manicure! Its been two hours and my nails are already peeling.

I love my nail tech was lovely. Her name was Tia. She was very into what she was doing. And was very considerate, and I feel she went the extra mile to make sure she did a great job. Which She did a great job and made me feel very comfortable. I was just visiting this city and wish I could have taken her with me when I went home. I will always come here when I'm into town. And to anyone who need their nails done, I recommend TJ Nails with Tia.....
