I went in to get a foundation match since I was diagnosed with Rosacea and haven't worn makeup in years. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The person (I didnt get her name) helped me within minutes find what I need and applied to my skin accordingly. Great job guys. I will shop here again.

Called many places near me and they were not able to fit me in on my only day off(Sunday). Called Ulta in Sandusky, asked the person who answered if I could get a perm and was told YES. SEAN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Sean works on Sundays and this is only 2nd week to work. Thank you Sean, when I am ready for another perm, I definitely want him to be the one to do it. AMAZING Sean!

I used to go to the Westlake Ulta and had my eyebrows laminated and tinted by Rachel who did a phenomenal job! She ended up moving to Southern Ohio so I had to find a new person. So I decided to try out the Ulta in Sandusky and I am happy I did! I had the same thing done today and the woman who did them did an amazing job!! Her name is Jennifer and I highly recommend her if you are looking to have your eyebrows done!!!

I’ve been struggling to find the right products since the Becca line went under. It’s been years since I’ve wore makeup other than on occasion. I’ve been to several stores and asked for help finding products. After throwing away hundreds of dollars, I want to see how these products look on me before buying. At other locations I’ve been told to book an appointment to get my makeup done. At Sephora was told they “don’t do that.” I planned on this being the same story when I went in today and was just going to get a foundation color match. Brandon not only found my match but asked me if I needed help finding other products. He applied them and showed me exactly what I needed to see in order to make a purchase. I’m so excited!! Thank you Brandon!!

I love ulta, and this location may have low staffing issues but if you're patient their employees do go the extra mile to help you!

Asked for assistance with magnifying mirrors and specifically asked for a person who knew about the differences and the girl took me to the aisle, picked boxes up and read the information and recommended a mirror that wasn't even magnifying! Waste of time. Please educate your employees.

Came to the store to get matched for a new concealer color. Not one person asked if I needed assistance or help the entire 15 minutes I was in the store popping different concealers on. I actually only seen one person in store who was behind the front desk. No one walking the floor which is Very unusual. Very disappointed in my experience today. To Sephora I go

I never leave reviews anywhere, unless the experience is super great or super awful, and unfortunately, this appointment warrants a review. I just had the worst blowout experience of my life at this Ulta. Where do I begin? I'll try... I'm traveling for work and told the stylist, Brenna, I had a work event tonight and wanted to look nice. I wanted a normal, volumized blow out with soft/bigger curls, which I get often... it was a disaster on all fronts. Granted, Brenna is probably a newly licensed stylist, however, I feel like Ulta should be training their stylists better to prevent things like this from happening. First, I have thick hair. Every stylist I've ever had shampoos my hair twice to ensure the scalp was reached, especially when you are going for a volumized blow out... the scalp needs to be cleaned and not weighed down! Instead, the stylist shampooed my hair once and didn't touch my scalp. She barely touched my head, in fact. My hair literally felt gross afterwards. Her conditioning took 5 seconds. Total bowl time was less than 5 minutes and I have a TON of hair. One of the reasons I go to Ulta when travelling for blowouts is I can count on the scalp/bowl massage... Did not get that this time at all. Such a bummer. Then, we hit the chair. She blow dried my hair for nearly two hours and it's still wet. I'm NOT a hair stylist but I know how to do a blow out (get the hair 80% dry then start using a round brush). She did none of that. For nearly two hours, she used a DRYBAR electric brush dryer and when one stylist asked her if she liked the tool, she said "no, her hair keeps getting Stuck in it." Like, isn't that your que to stop using it? ugh. And, with every section she touched, she lathered my hair with a leave in conditioner spray. I am all for products, but this made it even heavier (why would you do that when the goal is volume, light and bouncy)! My hair literally looks like crap. It's frizzy. It's still wet!!!! She didn't talk the entire time, either which just made it awkward. At the end, I ended up tipping 20%, but I am a HUGE tipper, because I truly value people`s time and talents. Had she done a decent job or even asked for help, I would have tipped this girl better. I just felt like she didn`t care, and neither did anyone else who saw the outcome. I'm sure she's new but someone should have stepped in to help Brenna or salvaged my hair. I'm Literally going back to my hotel to wash this crap out of my hair and dry it correctly. A total waste of $52 and 2.5 hours!

The store is so clean on the inside and everything seemed very well stocked. I had trouble finding a foundation shade in a new brand because my old one started breaking me out and Bailey was the most amazing help!! She stopped and asked if I needed any help and she spent as much time as I needed answering all of my questions and gave me suggestions. Will definitely try to find her when I go back if I need more help!
