I can’t say enough good things about this business. After struggling and wasting a good part of the summer season while another “mechanic” made my problem worse, I gave True North a call. There is something about dealing with people who know what they are doing that raises your confidence level that things would be done right. That’s exactly what happened. Alaina assured me Jimmy knew what he was doing, and I wasn’t disappointed. During the whole process Alaina, Jimmy, and Ryan were responsive and made me comfortable that my Formula 34PC would be fixed right the first time and accommodate me in any way they could. . I highly recommend them for service.

The worst sale I have ever had. I have bought many things in my life. And I have meet some bad people. This man is a liar! He sold and lied for his buddy Fred CERN a local Ohio politician. Who people and gave their word on the sale of this $200,000 boat. It was all lies. The boat is junk. And is costing me well over $125,000 just to get it back in the water. It was never launched without a major issue ! Not once! They both agreed to help and make good on this deal. Now they won’t even call back. I highly recommend I’m making your purchase elsewhere. Regardless of how good of a deal. Or how great the boat looks!

My husband and I decided to downsize from a 30' cabin cruiser to an open bow boat that we can enjoy on Erie and trailer to smaller lakes. Ryan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about which direction we should go. He made the process easy for us and we love our new to us Rinker 216 Captiva. What stood out to us about True North is that they didn't just help us broker our boat and find a new one but also helped with expert service and storage. Their whole team takes customer experience seriously and it shows.

boated down from lake ST. Clair to cedar point and lost the starboard engine on a Saturday. Call looking for a place to dock the boat overnight and be able to pick it up in the morning with trailer and they were very accommodating. stayed past closing to assist. Cant say enough how much I appreciated it.

Wow! I just have to share my experience with True North Yacht Sales and Service!
So my wife and I and two friends went to the Cleveland boat show in January of this year (2024). We were mainly just going to look at some boats and people watch. After looking at numerous boats my wife called my attention to a Tidewater 198cc that was on display by True North.
After both of us got on the boat she said why don’t you just buy a new boat because I know you have always wanted one for Lake Erie. She didn’t have to tell me twice.
I started a conversation with Jimmy and Devon ( True North employees) about what I would want if I purchased the boat. Their professionalism and knowledge blew me away! Being in my 70s I have dealt with many salesmen but these two are exceptional and answered all of my questions.
We were then introduced to Ryan Kraft and wow did he take it from there. He worked with me on trading my boat and purchasing this beautiful Tidewater!
We decided to take a trip to the Tidewater manufacturing plant in Lexington, South Carolina. Ryan took time off from his busy schedule and flew down to the plant to meet us. We were introduced to Zack from Tidewater Boats who gave us the tour of the factory. This only confirmed our decision to purchase the boat.
In May True North delivered our boat to us in Fairport Harbor, Ohio. It’s my dream boat and I couldn’t be happier. I’ll be Tidewatering for the rest of my life!! Thank you so Much to Ryan and the crew!!!

I had just recently purchased a 2024 272cc tidewater from Ryan Kraft at true north yachts sales.. I cannot say enough about this team… it was a wonderful experience working with all of them .. all of the members of true north yacht sales made it as smooth as butter for my family an I … best costumer service we have had yet from sales all the way down to the technicians… if your in the market for a new or used boat I highly recommend true north yacht sales.. thank you Ryan Kraft an crew we love our new tidewater !!!

Just a coincidence we met Ryan the owner of True North at Cedar Point Beach. I asked if he was an Authorized Mercruiser service center and they are. A month later we experienced a steering issue and contacted True North for help. They fixed the issue, kept in contact with us all along and dealt with filing a claim with a third party warranty company. Jimmy and Devin are excellent Technicians, Troubleshooters and Communicators. We also appreciate the help from Ryan and Jenna. Thank you!

If I could give Ryan and his Certified tech, Jimmy, 10 stars I would. Called over to him late in day as we needed towed in and he got us in a slip. Not only that but Jimmy at 5:30 stayed over to run a check and found it was battery issues and he replaced and got everything fixed! Can't say thank you enough for such service! Not to mention Ryan got us winter storage in 2022 after the markers had been taken out and we would have been stuck in our channel through the Winter!Won't go anywhere else for our boat needs.
