OMG this place is such a wonderful delight! In town for an event and decided to check out the local yarn store and was blown away by the welcoming folks and beautiful yarn selection. This was actually the first time I’ve ever shopped outside the big box stores and now totally understand the love the community has for their LYSs. I was like a kid in a candy store. Alfrieda was a genuine help, patiently answered all my novice questions, and helped me put together my haul. Will absolutely come back next time in town.

A fabulous and fun yarn shop!!! The selection is phenomenal—abundant and varied, and the staff is friendly and knowledgable! One of the things I love about this shop are the sample garments to show how a fiber looks knitted or crocheted up—so helpful! And of course, as the name denotes, knitters and crocheters are welcome to sit and work on their project or just chat with other knitters/crocheters. It’s a community building place. I prefer shopping for my knitting and crocheting supplies at local yarn shops rather than the big box craft stores, and Around the Table Yarns is one of the best in northeast Ohio!

I took a beginning knitting class, which was great. Very nice instructor, really cool community vibe. But ... I live 1 hour from ATTY (not the reason for my 3 stars), so I can't just drop in. I had to miss my second knitting class (for very good reason), and I let them know ahead of time -- I emailed twice and got no response. I called the store, spoke to someone who said they'd call me back to reschedule -- no call back. I emailed again -- no response. That's the reason for the 3 stars. Unfortunately, I won't be going back.

The staff here are super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The long table that's always set up has everything you need for yarn projects - right now to the handy sugar rush :)
Plus the yarn I got, while incredibly soft, is made from recycled plastic bottles! How cool is that!

AMAZING! I called to place an order and the staff was incredibly helpful with selections, pulling the yarn and describing it as we talked to make sure it was what I needed. They had it packaged and out the door, and it arrived at my house the next day! I live in the same state, about three hours away from the shop, but that is still absolutely incredible service!!

Beautiful shop and welcoming community! They will generously help you with any problems you encounter in your knitting/crocheting projects. Amazing selection of yarns displayed in an well-organized shop, with classes in person and online. Free zoom social community. I can't say enough positive things about Around the Table!!

This is just a lovely yarn store and I visit every time I’m in NE Ohio. The staff is soooo helpful and the owners, Beth and Pam, are just the kindest people on earth and care deeply about their customers. The yarn selection is EXCELLENT, I wish I had them here in PA! Looking forward to the retreat in February 2024.

Fabulous yarn shop! This shop is a winner across the board. They carry a wide range of yarns and accompaniments all well displayed in their new space (On the front side of the plaza, they were originally on the back side). Beth and Pam and friends offer all sorts of classes, as well as free 'clubs' (meet monthly and work on one project at a time). And bonus! there is a large table around which knitters gather whenever the store is open to knit/crochet and visit.

I have been to yarn shops in many cities. This is the best ever. They offer an enormous amount of expert help for both knitters and crocheters. It is available in person, by phone, and on Zoom. They have a huge selection of yarn at different price points. There is no pressure just lots of nice people.

Loved my visit to this store. I've retired from teaching and am picking crochet back up from my teen years. Mark was so helpful, explaining yarn weights. There were women sitting around a table working on projects. Beautiful & inspiring store. Will visit again when I come back to Cleveland!
