FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have been a customer for several years. Why ?? I honestly don't know. This company is disorganized and unresponsive. They call constantly to get you to buy more supplies that you don't need. Then when you do need new supplies they make it difficult to order. When I called to update my credit card I got a call center somewhere overseas who said they would update it. They never did. So then when I ordered new supplies they canceled my order. Now there is an insurance authorization pending that they need to cancel so I can order from someone else. They tell me they cannot give me a time frame as to when they will be able to withdraw the insurance request. I made one quick 5 minute call to the insurance company and they withdrew Apria's request. But Apria couldnt find the time to do the withdraw. (paybacks for going with another company or incompetence??) I am now using Aero Care and they are wonderful!

This company is horrible to work with. I was told how things would go on the initial contact and nothing has gone that way. If I can get someone on the phone nothing they tell me is followed through on. I was told I would pay one amount up front then they would charge me x amount monthly. I was told I would get training on my machine and how to use it, I didn’t get that when I picked up my machine. Just this past week I received an almost $250 charge from them with no contact or notice. I called and asked if they could reverse the charge and I was told that was done, but when I looked at my account today the money was still withdrawn. They say it is because my insurance has not paid them, I understand that, but who does that? Just charges someone that much money without contacting them and explaining the situation and giving them the opportunity to help resolve it. I will be contacting my bank and blocking them from being able to use my card to charge my account any longer. I cannot trust them to use it respectfully. I will find somewhere else to buy my supplies. I want nothing to do with them. In speaking to my insurance company they told me that Apria is the worst company for them to work with as well. Go somewhere else you will have a much better experience. I know my sister had a much better experience with another company and she got her machine around the same time that I did.

After my doctor told me she sent the Rx to Apria, I never heard anything in almost 2 weeks so I called and they said they couldn't find a script for me and ask me to have my doctor fax it to her at a specific phone number. After doing that, I waited again for about 7 days and left 2 voicemails but still, never heard anything. I then sent an email on a Friday afternoon to the customer service email on their website and Saturday morning I received a call from Jen in Dayton stating that my machine was ordered and I should receive it within 2 weeks due to manufacturing backlog. Then on Sunday, I received another call from a Customer Service person who actually received my email apologizing and ask if I had received a call because she could see my machine was out for shipping. So, despite the delay and the length of time it took to actually get my machine Jen and the CSR were both very kind, attentive, and helpful. Received my machine and all is well.

I wouldn't even give this Apria Sharonville, Ohio ONE STAR if I could! I have been calling for 3 weeks trying to get someone to help me get set for a pick up of my sleep apnea equipment! I did talk to someone the first week and they told me they didn't have my Rx even though my doctor told me she sent it. So I got their fax number and ask my doctor to AGAIN fax the Rx over to them. Again... never heard back... So I called several times AGAIN the 2nd / 3rd week and left several voicemail messages which the recording said they would call back within 2 hours during their business hours. That is laughable! I STILL after 3 weeks have heard nothing and with severe sleep apnea need this equipment! And of course, now it's the weekend and they're not open. So, next week I'm contacting my doctor and ask them to find me someone else and to make a note to never use them so that their other patients do not experience the same thing!

It appears that the prefered method of contact at the Sharonville, Ohio office is by phone. The problem is that the phone is rarely answered during their normal business hours. This results in leaving voicemails that are not returned, followed by more phone calls / voicemail messages. I had to stop by their location to speak with someone to gather information about the insurance pre-approval, when the medical device would be shipped, etc. Overall, a below average experience for what should have been an easy process.

So, far the equipment is pretty good but they are unresponsive to voicemail messages.

There is a huge problem with their phones. They claim they don’t receive many voice mails, but if there’s an issue, that should be on their message, rather than a promise to return calls by noon the next business day, which rarely happened. Once I got through, they told me my insurance company hadn’t responded to approval requests, which was also untrue. The agents are nice, but they need more employees because there’s a huge breakdown somewhere.

Overall, Apria provided some of the more unprofessional services I have received in some time. Slow response to telephone calls placed were typical. Services provided were no where near expectations based on initial doctor visit.

I give apria 1 star because the ohio branch in Sharonville. They failed to give my fiancee our daughters medical equipment and formula. Because the manager lisa had an attitude with my fiancee and refused to give her the equipment and formula, and denied even getting the order the next day but our daughters doctors sent in request. and even our insurance company sent the medical equipment to the branch . This is very serious because this everything needed is seriously needed. I want something done about this before I take legal action. This is unacceptable and dangerous for my daughter that this employee wants to deny my child's needed supplies. I need a response soon or this situation will escalate to legal action. I will be contacting Dan starck the ceo to have him take care of it. If it doesn't be solved soon.

I received my new CPAP yesterday. APRIA made it so easy and quick to get started. The App was so user friendly and helped me every step. The machine was pre set for me so when I was ready for bed all I had to do was push the start button. I can’t remember the last time I woke up feeling so rested and bright eyed.

I wouldn't even give one star to Apria Healthcare in Sharonville, Ohio, if this site didn't require giving a minimum of one star. I was scheduled for a foot procedure and called Apria more than a week ahead to get a wheelchair which was deemed medically necessary by my doctor. When I spoke to Lisa at Apria, she said they took my insurance and that it would be no problem obtaining the wheelchair. I faxed them the script from my doctor, plus my insurance information. I was told later by Lisa that the script was not enough and they needed more information including chart notes from my doctor. I had to actually go to my doctor's office to sign a release for the chart notes to be sent to Lisa. After Apria received a copy of the actual chart notes, Lisa told me it was still not enough information. I went back and forth with her trying to get the information that they required but it was never enough! I called my insurance company and they said they had never heard of a medical supply company asking for chart notes and that the script should have been quite enough. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for a wheelchair rental since I now needed the chair asap. Do not use Apria Healthcare unless you want a big headache from a total runaround and lousy service!!!! In addition, my healthcare provider had to waste value time with the back and forth of giving the information that Apria said was needed which kept changing!! Entire process was inefficient and ineffective. . .
