I admit, I am a nerd. I love nerd stores, nerd culture, hanging out with nerds, building nerdy things. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that there's no Micro Center closer to Dayton, and I do believe there's an untapped and vastly underserved nerd community there, but I would probably be a homeless nerd with a ton of cool DIY gadgets as I would end up broke from spending all of my money at Micro Center. No joke...I have spent a lot here, and I don't regret it. Ok, nerd jokes aside I absolutely love this place. The only thing I believe they've not been able to find were some oddball connectors I needed for a nerd project. But the truth is, I've found nearly everything I've needed every time I've come out here. Tonight, I was searching for some black PLA Tough filament (which is apparently an extremely popular color in a plastic that's oddly getting harder to find outside of Micro Center), which they finally had some in the shelves tonight! The one thing I have not seen, and I believe it would increase the customer base, is a "makers room." Seriously. A room with a dozen powered workbenches and some vending machines that would allow folks to build some projects. I don't know how that would all work out, but I do believe there's potential for some maker space to be a profitable endeavor. That thought aside, I love this store and will keep coming back. Please please don't ever close!

Horrible customer service on a KNOWN problem. The 2nd worthless helper i got told me Bios was a hardware problem(lie) after I found others who had the same problem. The 1st was even worse, they did not seem computer savy at all. They MAKE you use online text help for computer problems. Personally, I think making people type out long problems on a phone is not any good way to help(Super slow replies too) they eventually give you a phone number, but you have to waste time 1st to earn it, then waste time on the phone with automated BS. It was a long, long day. Never ever going to buy from them or recommend.

They had a terrible time figuring out payment for a data recovery. Made me make 3 trips out there before I was finally able to pay for it. The only nice, helpful, and understanding employee was Adam the manager.

Chris wants paid! The man was sweating running around the store making sure everyone was taken care of. Also the young man who helped me build my PC did a great job it looks wonderful I couldn’t be happier don’t go anywhere else for a PC! I used the six month same as cash option just because the made it available and I was starting my battle station from the ground up! Thanks guys!

On the bright side I've always had a fast and easy shopping experience at Microcenter with an associate helping me make a decision. The bad side is that I've gone through 5 printers in 6 years at my small business with time wasted troubleshooting and replacing and the associate will tell me how HP or Brother or whatever last brand they sold me is bad. Installing my new Epson now. Switching to non wireless is my strategy this time as "going offline" was a major problem with my last HP. I don't blame microcenter for the problems but I am starting to feel like designed obsolescence is punishing my business.

One stop shopping for your electronic products needs. They are over the top in customer service. A true gem for the Cincinnati ohio area. Buyers come from far and wide to get the best value for their electronics bucks.

Anything and everything for electronics, PC, Tablets and more. This was my first visit and I was thoroughly impressed. Went in for a couple specific items which they had no problem and ended up spending about an hour in awe of all they had. Great prices, friendly service and in stock. Can’t beat that.I highly recommend shopping at Micro Center and keeping a local business well in business before you shop a big box store or order online. They have all the brands and items you will ever need for anything!

This review is for their service. I took my computer in to have a drive installed and the information from the old drive, moved to the new one. I was quoted 1-2 days and charged $150 for this. No big deal. Second day comes around and I haven't heard anything. 3rd day comes around and I call around lunch time asking for updates and they hadn't even started it, said they would start it today and contact me around 6-7pm when its done. Never contacted me. I called on the 4th day curious as to what is going on, and my computer had been finished, but they never reached out to tell me or anything. I go in and they charge me another 100 for the install of the new drive. So they can't ring up customers correctly, aren't punctual about their time quotes, and won't contact you when the service is competed, it's up to you the customer to call daily for updates after being told you'll be contacted with updates.

The manager Zach at Mosteller Rd location in Cincinnati Ohio is egotistical, rude, and unfit for a management position. I reserved a laptop to pick up last night in store. I had a couple items I bought last year that I thought maybe I could return for store credit. Last year I was on military leave long term so I wasn’t sure if I could return them or not. My problem was Zach told me that the items were no longer in inventory. That was a bold faced lie. I went down aisle 7 and aisle 5 and took photos of the items hoping he would look at mine and see that they are still in inventory and just help me out a little. He never even looked at my items. He saw my entire account in the system and saw that I’m a good customer and spend plenty of money there. He refused even a store credit towards my emergency laptop purchase of almost $200. I ended up at Walmart and even spent a little more for my laptop. Customer retention is one of the most important parts of business. You lost a customer for good. I’m NEVER going back to Micro Center again.

The manager named Zach at the Mosteller Rd location in Cincinnati, Ohio was rude and egotistical. I had a couple items I purchased before I went on orders last year that I needed to return. I was out of town on military leave on long term orders so I understood when he said it had been too long to return the items. However, he pulled up my account and saw that I had purchased the items free and clear. They were unopened even in the original micro center packaging. It was maybe a total of $40. He lied to me and said the two items were no longer in there inventory. I walked right to the aisle and snapped photos of both the items hanging on the shelf. He never even looked at my items or my photos. Just the length of time it had been and refused to help me. I had a brand new laptop on reserve with them and I was standing there to pick it up with cash in hand. I'm a student and my laptop tanked on me just this morning. All I wanted was a little help and understanding. These kids these days are ridiculous when it comes to customer service and understanding that customer retention is one of the most important parts of running a business. NOT YOUR EGO! I took my money and went to Walmart to get a new laptop. I'm never going to MicroCenter again.

Never buy an open box computer from here or trust that anyone in the store knows what they are talking about. Purchased open box Dell and the computer was locking up. Bought some RAM to upgrade and 3 people in the store advised it would work for the computer and it did not. I chatted with their tech support and they advised the RAM was not compatible. End of the story was I tried to fix a computer they should not have sold to begin with. So many hours of wasted time on this experience. They asked me to send a review and I rated them a 0 and no one even acknowledged me. I have purchased a lot of stuff from them over the years and have referred many people and have never had any luck with their open box items. You cannot even call the store. I know why now. Scott R
