I called in the early spring to inquire about binding scallops instead of a straight edge. I wanted to make my nieces quilt a little more feminine. I asked if they had classes or be willing to teach me and I’d of course be willing to pay for them. I was rudely told that if I hadn’t worked with scallops already then I should not try now. What business owner says that?!?! As an artist myself when someone is excited about photography and wants to learn I help them as much as I can. Well thankfully I found another quilt shop (who hasn’t worked with scallops) be willing to help me. The directed me to YouTube videos and even learned themselves! Tonight I finished my quilt with scallops and now my quilt has the cutest edge! I can’t wait to give it to me niece for Christmas. If you are wanting to learn quilting this is NOT THE PLACE TO GO. If you really want to learn quilting and be around the best staff, then you really need to go to Stitches in Glendale!!! Sew-Ezy was so rude on the phone lost me as a customer before they even had a chance to win me as one! I’m so grateful that I found another quilt shop!

Cute store. Rooms are somewhat themed - novelty, animals, baby, holiday. Not a lot of space & poor lighting makes it difficult to maneuver around. Overall a cute store if you have time to wander.

If I could give zero stars I would. I dropped off my machine for repair in late May 2021 after speaking to the owner by phone. I was told it would take about 2 weeks. After 3 weeks I called to check and was told that they needed to order a part. I authorized the purchase of the part and then waited another 6 weeks. When I next called I was told that one problem was fixed but they were having trouble with the other problem and she needed to talk to someone at Janome for guidance. It has now been 4 months and I’ve received no further communication from the owner nor do I have my sewing machine. I did find out that it was the owners brother who did repairs and he only came in occasionally. Had I known this , I certainly would have gone to Kramer’s in Montgomery instead.
