“It’s just a Dollar General but I live in South Amherst so it’s really close and there’s normally everything you can want in there. It’s just a little Dollar General and I really like it because there’s decorations food, clothes, toys and so on.”
“This store gets a lot of business. Sometimes things are chaotic, like waiting in line or waiting for a cashier to show up. Give these people credit, I worked here, I'll say from my own experience that it's not easy when you have to stock shelf's and cashier and be polite. It's tough.”

Visited this location 03/18/25 in the middle of the afternoon and the two gals working were phenomenal. They helped, were engaging, shared lots of laughs and smiles. This place is a treasure, and for the week I was already having, I definitely appreciate the kindness and compassion they shared.”

“Went in for a few things. Sold out of decor we were looking for and only 1 string of ornaments left. Ladies were very helpful in checking in back. We were able to find 2 steings at other family dollar stores. Lake Ave. Elyria store.”
“Always love going to this store in particular. The employees are always nice and welcoming. The store could use a little more room as most dollar generals could, of course. But they work well with the room they have there. And you can always find something there, regardless if you were looking or not, that you want to take home.”

“The weekly sale started 2 days ago, and it was 5/$5 Crush, Schweppes, Mug, and Starry. There was not a single bottle available today, when I asked the very nice clerk she said that it was due to the vendor. That's very sorry business to say the least. Before you think about trying to attract wealthier clients, work on running a worthy store chain!”
“Nice store - clean store - organized and the ladies who were running the show even kept the customer service while cleaning up a spill from a previous customer. As I say in many of these type of stores staff is a shortage - and stock associates are always needed.I love DG - and am hoping to start getting the $5 coupons on my app - but I am still learning!”

“Typical family dollar, it's true about the aisles being cluttered and disorganized. Lots of carts in the aisles with merchandise needing to be stocked. Plenty of parking with two entrances. If you are hauling a trailer or an RV, you could potentially pull in and exit through a separate drive with plenty of space.”
