We went to have our pool water tested and told Joshua how much we hate the chlorine floater and he took us directly to the Frog which satisfies all of our needs and removes labor and maintenance for the chlorine because sometimes we “forget”. Joshua was super friendly, very helpful and laughed at our jokes. If we ever need anything else we will definitely go back to see Joshua and we will recommend him to our friends. Great job Joshua!

EVERY time we buy hot tub filters here, they always have some kind of grease or oil film on the plastic part of the filters on the top and bottom… Guess what happens to grease or oil in hot water?? It melts in the water of the hot tub and causes foam and a layer of floating greasy silt… I’m not sure if this comes from the factory that produces them but it’d be helpful if you would take a warm, mild soapy wash cloth to them to clean it off before they’re stocked on the shelves for sale.. These filers are NOT CHEAP AS IT IS!!! Let alone having to dirty up brand new filters, right off the bat, quicker then they need to be!
It’d also be nice if there was a loyalty program, after spending X amount of $$$, you could get some sort of $ amount off or a % discount off your order, even if it waa for just 1 item at the very least.. At this point, I think we’re sadly going to start buying all of our filters and chemicals online. It’s getting too expensive to support this local business, in which we also purchased our hot tub here as well. Especially with NO INCENTIVES to even continue shopping here after many years of patronage to this business….

Went to Lighthouse Pools and More as a new pool owner bought some chemicals that was told that I needed, being I'm still in the learning phase. Here to find out I didn't need certain chemicals at all, so when I tried to return it to my surprise they have a return policy of cannot take chemicals back. They were very willing to sell me all kind of products but never once helped out by telling me what the policy was or pointing it out to me.

Bought an above ground swimming pool last year (2023). First, while in their presence they give you a delivery/install date, then call you and reschedule it for a later date. Second, in 2023 the summer was terrible I used my pool all of 6-7 times, no small kids. Well I started loosing water less than 3 months after install; I attributed to weather conditions to evaporating, never considered damage due to new product and very little use. Well 2024, opened pool, water almost gone, refilled, & loosing water. Called lite house May 1st to check for leaks, they scheduled me out June 4Th because they said the guys have to get in the water and June is warmer. June 4th, the fixers come out with a device, never got in the pool (clean water by the way because I had to drain the pool and refill it), they discovered possibly 3 pin holes or more using this device standing on the outside of the pool wall, installer advised us this may be a manufacturer defect plus he added the liners are not real durable because a toenail can cause a tear it; fast forward, the service guy called corporate and was advised to try a different leak detector, which by the way they did not have or bring with them, had to schedule for another week out, remind you I already waited an entire month for this appointment, I still have the leak, and now I have to keep running water to my pool to keep it at the skimmer level and an over $1,000 water bill. Additionally, the service guy noticed a hairline crack in the filter cap and stated that the pump was “inefficient” and should’ve been installed with a direct interconnect, advised we get a direct interconnect. This is a complete disaster and no human being should go through all this hassle when paying this much money for enjoyment only to get complete frustration and stress.

I’ve been dealing with the Sheffield store. Sandi is fantastic! She is so patient and answers all your questions. She’ll do anything within her power to help make any transaction pleasant for the customer. If the particular store doesn’t have items in stock, they’ll ship them to your home.

Bought a Nordic spa hot tub from them a little while back and CONSTANTLY having issues with the power cord. This is the third time with it being replaced. And now since the “tech” didn’t have it in stock we have to wait for them to order and receive it?? Well how long is my hot tub going to be down for until someone gets out to fix it. And how long will that cord last until it also goes down and we’ll be on the 4th cord? If i could give them less than 1 star i would.

The dumbest employees I have ever seen and rude will never go back. Great Escape has great employees and very helpful. Light House has over priced themselves so bad.

I try not to give a bad review, but if a Customer is spending thousands of dollars and they are doing their due diligence, then they should know that they should not expect to be given correct information about the product and they should take the extra step of asking for specifics in writing when dealing with Litehouse pools in Sheffield, Ohio. I was given mis-information three times prior to installation. as instructions were not included, costing me hundreds of dollars more in electrical work. Not to mention they gave me a moldy spa cover which was promptly replaced. I did have to dispose of their trash and I was told that they don’t remove trash by the office manager, but I was told by the second spa cover installer that trash removal was part of their job.
