“I have never stayed at a Motel 6 so this was my first time. I had booked this motel about 10 months in advance in preparation for our stay for the Inkarceration Festival at the Ohio State Reformatory. After reading tons of negative reviews about the cleanliness and the staff being rude, I was starting to get worried as the days lead up to our arrival. I must say I was pleasantly surprised upon opening the door to the room. Yes it was a bit dusty and there was dirt here and there, but it definitely up to standards for a $99/night room. So for 3 nights with tax/fees our total was $360. The best way to describe the bathroom/shower was it was more/less like a campsite bathroom. My biggest concern was bed bugs or the AC not working, but there were no bugs at all and the AC controls went down to 65 which was perfect. And the staff was very accommodating with any questions or if anything was needed, so I am unsure where the rudeness of staff comments came in to play. When I needed new towels, I got them within 5 minutes.”
“I spent two Weeks at the Rainbow Motel and had a wonderful stay. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, hot water and AC worked great, and Wi-Fi speed was solid. The environment is peaceful and the staff is very friendly and professional. Housekeeping was regular . For the rate and service, it’s the best value in the area. Highly recommended
New Renovated room”
“This building is supposedly 60 + years old, which use to be called Holiday inn but now owned by park hospitality Max Patel. The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking try taking the rooms facing the back parking lot. This building is huge which consist of 6 floors. The price is not all that bad for the suite I got the rooms are quite spacious. The staff Paul, Roy and Anu were very helpful during my stay. Here’s one draw back about thisPlace, there’s a homeless shelter at the back of the parking lot. Due to which avoid stepping out in the nights for a walk in the paring lot. They’d be smoking crack pipes and drinking alcohol. The police in the area are quick to respond and show up immediately just avoid socializing with the any unknown person and you’ll be fine.”
“For the money, you can’t really complain. It was tired, dated, but for an overnight it worked just fine. If you want a $200 a night room, spend $200 a night. The area seems fine, the locals were pleasant, the shake joint right up the road was awesome.”
