We wouldn’t even consider taking our dogs to any other vets. Dr. Schmeising and Dr. Taubken are top notch. Plus, the office staff is helpful, efficient, and kind.

I have appreciated the care my dog has gotten there for years but am now on the fence.Our dog has seasonal allergies.3 weeks ago we took him in as he was relentlessly scratching.And rubbing himself against the furniture which he had never done.It was not Dr S and I dont know this guys name nor do I care to.He used a flea comb and found flea dirt and a flea after 2 swipes.He said "Yea,he likely picked that one up outside".He gave our dog a steroid shot (after asking us what we wanted him to do!?).3 weeks later zero improvement.So we take him in after conforming Dr S would be seeing him.He had fleas bad!! After telling Dr S our story of the previous visit he said "Well........if you see one flea there has to be more".So,my dog suffered for over 3 weeks with fleas and we were charged for the shot and the office visit about 3 weeks ago.And for what?Our pet was totally mis diagnosed and recieved a steroid shot he didnt need.Yesterday Dr S prescribed some pills for his flea problem and he is already much better.If others there dont know how to perform their job they shouldnt be there.We did not pay that fee 3 weeks ago for somebody to guess what was wrong with our dog! A "vet" that cant diagnose a flea problem and gives steroid shots........scary.

I was never really impressed nor unimpressed by Flinn’s until a recent experience of failure.
A family member and I took my now deceased cat in when he stopped eating and drinking a few months ago. The exam felt rushed (probably because the waiting room was full) and it really didn’t seem to me like they had much of a sense of urgency in helping him and left me feeling very lost. Simply gave him some fluids because he was dehydrated, said after a couple minute physical exam that it was likely kidney failure, and that we should bring him back in after the weekend to get blood drawn. It took nearly a week for us to actually get all the correct labs back because they got put in the wrong vial or something and we had to get them redrawn, (Which is not the first time this has happened. It also happened with our dog as well- TWICE.) and this was time we did not have- as my cat was still not eating or drinking properly.
When we finally DID get the labs back approximately 5 days after the initial draw, we were told that the condition of his kidneys wasn’t super abnormal, and suggested getting some imaging done instead. The day after, we took him to a different vet in Sidney and had them look at the EXACT SAME labs that Flinns looked at. Turned out the numbers on his kidneys printed on the labs were SO SEVERELY high that he had to be put on an IV and admitted into the clinic overnight for multiple days. I have no idea how on Earth Flinn’s read his labs and came to the conclusion that nothing urgent was wrong with the numbers, but I absolutely will never risk putting any of my pets through an experience like that ever again. I sincerely understand honest mistakes, but these were just too big and too negligent for me to trust their practice any longer.
The staff and vet are normally pleasant. (Sometimes not. Hasn’t happened to me personally but a few people I know have mentioned the front desk being rude to them.)
I will say that the price is better than most other vets. I’m sure others have had good experiences with them, and I’m sure they’re fine for some quick vaccinations or picking up medication, but for larger, more urgent issues and peace of mind, I would suggest somewhere else, because It was EXCRUCIATING to watch my cat suffer for longer than he should have because of mixed up blood tests and reading labs wrong.
I do request that nobody call the number on file to apologize or try to explain themselves, as it is a family member’s and not mine- And I’m, quite frankly, not interested anyhow. People should just be aware that there is, unfortunately, moderate risk of negligence here that a lot of pet owners may not be willing to take.

They are very nice and help you as much as they can and very sensitive to when your animals need ro be put down the most understanding vet place I've ever been to thank you so to the staff are very kind and have the two best doctors you could ask for

The Staff is so friendly, and the Care We've received has been amazing. It's so nice to have Vets that show such Compassion, and really care about My Furbabies! I can't imagine taking My Furbabies anywhere else.

This is the only place I will take my pets!! The staff are so knowledgeable. The doctors don’t push or make you feel bad about your decision. They take care, listen to each concern and are very affordable. We recently had trouble with one of our male cats. I guess cats can get stressed from something in their environment and get a urinary blockage. After it happens they only have a few hours to live. After my cat was struggling in the litter box and we found blood in his urine Dr. S and Dr. T gave him such great care. They preformed a surgery to shorten his urethra and he is a completely different cat. He is so loving and so vocal!! I cannot imagine how he must have been feeling before. I am so thankful they saved my cats life!!

Both vets are helpful and knowledgeabl. The staff is wonderful and caring. Proud few are very reasonable. Highly recommend.
