I had an appointment for an account opening. I had a coupon for new members. When I arrived at the appointment , I was informed that coupon was not valid due to being in my wife’s name. I had asked about it, when making an appointment.The manager did not apologize but chaulked to new employee making an error. This is unprofessional behavior and lacks customer focus.

I just 2 minutes ago left this (my) branch of Key bank Solon Ohio, and the customer service was awesome. The young man’s name was Davon. He was personable and polite smiled the whole time. I never have issues at this branch with rudeness. I have once had an issue with waiting in line but that was probably more my issue than theirs ?. Keep up the good work!

A teller Michelle Rodgers denied me the ability to withdraw from my business account although I had a valid passport and another government issued ID. I mentioned closing my account and she mocked me as if it didn't matter. Ive been to this branch before and she has seen me. This was a horrible experience. I felt like as a business customer my business was not valued. So, I may take my business elsewhere after this is rectified. Horrible

This bank will take your money from your account without your permission. I withdrew $2000 cash at this location, the cashier counted the money in front of me and gave me the receipt. The next day I found someone withdrew another $100 from my account. I made a bunch of phone calls and went there in person. I found out that the cashier was short of $100 in cash balance, and she thought that she could give me an extra $100, so the bank decided to withdraw $100 from my account without my knowledge. Later they checked the video and confirmed that she didn't give me an extra $100. Is that scary? Your bank steals your money.

If you must use Key Bank DO NOT use this branch! The manager of this branch, J.J. Brindel, refused to help me expedite a hold on a check that I had deposited at this branch. When I shared my circumstances, the fact the it was a cashier's check from a national bank and he could easily validate the check and funds with a simple phone call, he refused. He repeatedly told me that he COULD release the hold, but that he WOULD NOT do it for fear of putting his job in jeopardy. His job is to help the bank customers, yet he would not make a simple phone call. He refused to do his job. It should be in jeopardy.

I was charged $100 for an atm withdraw and did not receive because the machine froze and kept my card and the money. I went inside to explain my problem and was assured that they would be checking the balance of the atm and refunding my account on the following business day. I never received any communication from the bank. When I did call the day after I was supposed to receive the refund I was told I would get a call back by noon that same day. I got no call back and when I did call again I was told to make a dispute myself to key bank and was then given the incorrect phone number to call and dispute the claim. This should have been taken care of by the branch directly, not by me calling key bank. While I was inside I heard the tellers saying the machine had been acting up and freezing all day, and yet they chose not to shut the machine off or put up a sign. They did not take care of me but instead forced me to spend half an hour on the phone disputing the transaction.
