Carpenter's Market is a friendly small town market and general grocery store. It is known for its old fashioned meat counter, with the best fresh meat you can buy, better than restaurant steaks. The butcher shop and fresh deli offer excellent quality, with good prices on meats, lunch meat, and cheeses. The lunch special is highly recommended. Employees are helpful and the owner is very helpful. It is a convenient and great place, worth the drive for those in the surrounding counties. They accept lots of forms of payment and there is something for everyone.

This small grocery store has the old fashioned meat counter and the meat is the best you can buy....better than steaks at a restaurant. Have bought their meat package and will do so again. It's worth the drive if you are in Fairfield, Hocking or Perry County to get fresh meat.
