Great food, good service, lots of choices. So walking in the first thing I noticed is the low lighting. I assume it's a mood setting, considering the price is set for dating and special occasions. The staff is patient, attentive, and friendly. Very necessary considering the gluttony that takes place at all-you-can-eat venues. The wine list is quite extensive, with plenty of choices for any wine enthusiast. What was missing was a list of meat selections being offered for the evening. Though the restaurant takes pride in their protein selection, the salad bar will more than satisfy anyone with vegetarian or vegan preferences. If not careful, one could make the classic rookie mistake and fill up on soup, salad, cheese, and cold salmon and shrimp - leaving little room for the meat that will be brought to you. As for the meat, it is delivered to your table as you give the signal by flipping your cardboard circle to the green side. There is no menu, as Gauchos bearing swords with cooked meat come to your table, with wares of chicken, pork, lamb and beef cooked to your preference and ready to serve. What's nice is the portions are small, so you can try everything offered. The dessert options looked nice, but I was not interested due to being overcome by the meat sweats. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to have a list of meats being prepared so one can keep track of what they ate and/or liked. I'm sure there is an app for that, though.

Very disappointed in the meal here. For $45, the meat selection was sparse (three sirloins and even lamb sirloin), no ribeye, filet was dry and over cooked and chewy, instead of tender. Lamb chops, though requested med rare were served well done and dry. Never going back there. Anything over $40 has to have a better selection / better result.

This place is definitely a unique buffet and table service style restaurant, but I'm not sure it's my kind of place. We went for restaurant week but it was the same exact dinner for a little bit cheaper, so I did feel like we were getting a deal. We made a reservation which was a good idea since it got pretty busy. In theory this place is a fancy buffet which includes a salad/charcuterie bar and unlimited meat service for a set price. Desserts are an additional charge. They do also have happy hour specials during the week. In reality this place feels overpriced and is an awkward dining experience. You start with ordering any drinks at your table. Then you go up to the buffet and grab a plate and get whatever you want. There were a lot of interesting and unique foods at the buffet, but the problem is that hardly anything is really labeled. I would have maybe tried more if the items were better labeled so I had an idea of what could go together or what it even was. After we were done with the salad bar we had to ask for our plates to be taken away by our server and if we had to go get another plate for the meats? Or should we go get some of the warm sides to have on the plate to accompany the meats? It was kind of either/both and confusing. Then you turn a card over on your table to say you are ready to accept the meat service. This is where I felt like it feels a little less than fancy to me. Large skewers of meat are brought around to each table randomly and some are cut on the spot. So the meats are being carved which can cause juices to leak and pieces of meat to kind of fall onto the table. And you only have cloth napkins so there is nothing to clean this up! Whats worse is I had a piece of meat that was so tough I had to spit it out into the drink napkin. There are also rolls on the table which were not great, and mashed potatoes and banana palate cleanser that comes along with the meat service portion. Then after plates are cleared again, they show you the dessert options. Its just all a lot to try to put together and figure out, which maybe just isn't my style. Overall I was curious about Texas de Brazil and now I know what it's about. I sampled a lot of different foods but honestly nothing really amazed me. If you're a big eater or even a big meat eater then maybe this is the place for you. Otherwise, just go to a normal fancy restaurant and order a steak and get a more relaxed and possibly cheaper dining experience

A nice, upscale restaurant. It's all you can eat besides deserts. There's a salad bar with many options and they come around with different meats on a skewer that you can choose from. The meats are cut and you can try as many as you want and eat as many as you want until you are full. Most of the meats that I ate were good besides two, and I tasted all of them. It is pricey, it's about $50 per person but we caught them during restaurant week so it was $35 per person. Their deserts are $9 a slice so we paid a pretty good amount. If you are coming here, be prepared to spend some money. But it is enjoyable and the service is tremendous. They accommodate larger parties and it's in a shopping area, so if you want somewhere special to be for your birthday or anniversary, I would recommend.

Great atmosphere and excellent food. Service was a bit slow but worth the wait. Would definitely come back.

Mmm... Lots and lots of meat! Some cuts are definitely better than others. The second time they brought the lamb was much better than the first time. It was a lot more tender and flavorful. A lot of the meat is really salty though. My favorite was the house cut, the picanha. Most of the time I got it, it was rare or medium rare. Some of the meat is cooked inconsistently. You'll get everything from rare to medium well. Their chimichurri sauce is good. Nice way to accentuate the flavors of the meat. Service... I did wish they took some plates away a bit more frequently. I had a pool of meat juice on my plate so I didn't want my food sitting in it too long just so that it would stay hot longer.

I am a big fan of Brazilian Steakhouses because of mass selection and ability to try a variety of dishes, meats, and sides. This will be the third time at this location and overall it was a very poor experience. While starting off strong, the meat selections were few and far between. There was a period of 15 minutes where no waiters or chefs (there is a term for the chefs who bring the skewers and cut/portion the meat at your table but I cannot remember it at this time). The lamb chops, my favorite cut of meat at this location, as I dont make lamb at home because my fiance doesnt enjoy the smell of it, were cooked over well done. This was the same for the lamb sirloin and a few other selections. The leg of lamb was great! The server said he would have more lamb chops brought over. After 20 minutes our server checked on the meal and asked if the lamb chops had been brought, and they had not. It took another 10 minutes to have someone bring lamb chops. I only had one lamb chop the entire meal. I was actually full by the time the lamb chops were brought over, but didnt want to call it a night until I had at least 1 lamb chop. I will say that the 1 lamb chop I had was the highlight of the meal. The lemon seasoning really pops and makes it melt right in your mouth. The top sirloin was also a treasure. There were several times where I tried to flag down cooks walking right by our table and they walked right past the table and never acknowledged me or my date. I know there is a rotation to it all, but there were plentiful amount of occassions where food was being given to tables around us....but the chefs never came over and our cards were out and very noticable on the table that were were accepting food. I had to interrupt cooks as they were assisting other guests just to make sure we would get access to the selections. The filet mignon is also consistently overcooked. For the third time in a row it was over well done, tough, and lacked flavor. Again, such a disrespectful way to treat such an expensive and delicate cut of meat. The one server we had said there was supposed to be another server helping him, but we never saw her. Despite some misgivings with the food, we still gave the server a $20 tip on a $90 dinner. In my last experience at this location, the food was great (except for the filet being over well done), but service was an utter disaster. This time the food was good (many different cuts were over well done, cuts lacked flavor, and food wasnt being brought to the tables in a timely manor) and the service was just acceptable. However, with the price of a meal $45, the restaurant needs to really focus on the guest experience and ensure consistent food quality before the meat leaves the kitchen. At some point, the price of the meal won't be worth the hassle of trying to enjoy the experience.

For $230 for three people I would have expected a little better service. I had to get my own water twice. I literally walked 35 steps across the room in front of 25-30 people to get my own water and walked back............twice over twenty minutes. I ate a pound of meat with nothing to drink. People around me we're laughing because I got my own water but the people behind me basically walked out because service was so bad. I'm not even sure they paid. The guy was trying to find the manager I think. My coworker had to ask for a glass of wine twice and we only saw the waiter maybe four times in 90 minutes. We treated the server great but it didn't matter. I would get it if we were asses to him but we were nothing but cordial. The food was actually good but the restaurant manager should be fired, and I don't say that lightly. Never saw him/her once.

Texas de Brazil is one of those places you go if you wanna eat a week's worth of protein in a single meal. We had a party of 10 for my boyfriend's birthday lunch. The service was attentive and fast. We hardly had to wait for the meat to arrive. They came back around at least 3 more times before our party was stuffed. There were 2 complaints I have. One: the meat servers looked extremely bored, like they didn't want to be there. This kinda reduced the vibe of the restaurant. Second: some of the cuts of the meats - beef sirloin, lamb leg - were way too salty. Perhaps a strategy to minimize people from eating too much? My favorite item were the cheese breads balls. Much to my boyfriend's dismay, I was eating them like candy. A lot if the salad bar options were also really tasty. The lunch was $35 / person for Saturday lunch. Fairly priced. If you're not a big meat eater, you can opt for the salad buffet instead for $25 / person. These are only weekend lunch prices.

I would've gave this another star as well as had a much more enjoyable time had a had any clue of what was going on before dining. No one told me anything other than there was a buffet I could eat from and that staff would bring around meat. Was the meat charged by the piece, were some cuts cheaper than others?? Was it all u can eat? I HAD NO IDEA!!! Kinda felt a little jilted afterwords thinking this 'could have' been a really nice experience that was simply tainted by not knowing anything about the place. Probably will not go back. Food was decent but left a bad taste in my mouth for $45/person and having no clue what was even going on :(

We did a birthday dinner for 3 of us. It was amazing! I could have just done the salad bar but couldn't miss out on all of the skewers. After we had our salad, we were surrounded by 3 servers with different meats and they were so good. Then we were presented with even more types of meat. Make sure to keep some room for dessert...free for birthdays!

Unbelievable experience. If you leave hungry, it's your fault. Jalapeño Bisque and Augratin potatoes are the best! Salad dressing is amazing!!

Texas de Brazil is one of my favorite restaurants and where I usually ask to go on my birthday. I'm gonna use this review so I can remember what meats to prioritize when I go back next year. Dear self, prioritize the food in this order and always try to get edge pieces if possible. 1) Lamb Chops 2) Picanha 3) Salad Bar 4) Braised Beef Ribs 5) Brazilian Sausage 6) Leg of Lamb 7) Flank Steak 8) Garlic Picanha 9) Filet 10) The Non-Red Meats
