Heatherwoode Golf Club is a highly regarded public golf course known for its well-maintained grounds and friendly atmosphere. The course features a nice layout that is challenging yet accessible for mid-handicap players, with greens that are fairly true and in great shape even early in the season. The course drains well after rainstorms, ensuring playable conditions. Multiple tee boxes accommodate players of different skill levels, and the course offers a fun and enjoyable experience.
The staff and course conditions receive high praise, with helpful and courteous personnel in the pro shop and at the pace of play. The course is kept in excellent condition, and amenities such as a great driving range and clean, quiet golf carts enhance the experience. Food can be ordered at the 8th green and 9th tee box to pick up at the restaurant downstairs, adding convenience. Visitors appreciate the welcoming environment, with some noting that even beginners or those receiving lessons find the course enjoyable and beneficial.
Heatherwoode is often considered one of the top five public courses in the area, with many players planning regular visits. However, it can be difficult to secure tee times, especially for residents, which shows its popularity and demand. Overall, Heatherwoode Golf Club offers a challenging, well-maintained, and friendly golf experience.
Excellent course. It’s a combination of a neighborhood and nature course that is very well maintained. The clubhouse was clean and well kept. I especially want to recognize the staff. Every single staff member I encountered had a friendly and positive attitude. I highly recommend Heatherwoode!

For the price the course was not in the same condition as other less expensive courses. Food and drink was a little pricey compared to other courses.
