I went to go and pay with cash at the teller and they asked how much I wanted to put on my pump and I said I’m not sure I think 30 or 35 I want to fill up my tank so I’ll start with 30 and they both started hysterically laughing at me . The girl was laughing so hard that she was doubled over and I got super embarrassed and I was like “why are you laughing to me” and they were like “nothing you just don’t know how much you would put on your tank”. I’ve never had somebody laugh at me like that before so I just put my hand up and said I’m just gonna pay with card and Went back to the pump. And after every button I pressed it kept saying see cashier so I think they were messing with me. I’m not sure. So I just decided to leave and get gas for more expensive price somewhere else.
I’ve never been humiliated like that and I’m not even sure what I did and I think it’s important to write this review because it made me so upset. I cried and I’ve never been embarrassed like that. This was just a moment ago 07/04/2024 at 12:30pm or so

Always use my Kroger fuel points to get up to a $1 off a gallon. Stations are well maintained. Almost always have receipt tape filled.

Just got gas from here. I had my son get gas for the first time (teaching him responsibility and all that), and the gas attendant, Tallyah, SHOUTED at him from across the lot rather than crossing the 15 feet from her box to come speak with us.I went over and told her that her yelling at my son was not appropriate, and that if she needs to address something she can come over and speak with me. She responded by telling me to do my job and parent, and then telling me to get out of her face.I went into the store and spoke with the store manager, a woman, who informed me that pumping gas under 16 years old is not allowed. Got it, received. What is *still not appropriate* is the way this person addressed the situation. I asked for the store manager to facilitate an apology and she responded with “well, I can’t force her”. When we went over, the attendant lied saying that I had spit at her through the window. The interaction had only happened 10 minutes prior, and there was nothing on the window (and the attendant confirmed that she had not cleaned the window). The store manager’s response? That she would look back at the video footage and address “as appropriate”.I understand that there are rules, and that I unintentionally broke one. The problem with this situation is that the attendant refused to take accountability for her unprofessional customer service behavior, and the store manager refused to take accountability for her employee’s unprofessional behavior.Do better, Kroger.
