  Had a perm done this week. I expected some input from salon whether my expectations could be met. I put my trust in the hairdresser. The young person was very friendly but just proceeded to give me the perm. She did not advise me whether it would be right thing to do. I was informed half way that she didn't have the right solution. Spoke to somebody, that person said she could use this other one. To make story short the perm is pretty bad. It didn't take well in some places. The curls are undefined. Nobody that has seen me likes it. Now I have to wait until it's gone. I expected a real professional that would either encourage me or advise me to change my mind. Very dissapointed. I'll have to find another place for whatever service I need. I tipped the young person because she was friendly. But this disaster/perm not worth $110.

  Went and got a men’s cut here for $25. I chose this salon solely based off the fact that it’s an Aveda salon which made me think that I didn’t need to worry about the quality of my cut. I don’t think the person who ended up cutting my hair has much experience cutting men’s hair…..she didn’t do a very good job blending my fade into the top of my head and worst of all is my crooked neck line as seen in the photo. I didn’t notice it until I got home and my wife took a photo of how bad it looks. They also didn’t offer to shampoo my hair and for the price I think that should just be standard. If you’re a guy, you’re probably better off going to a local barber or asking about who has the most experience cutting men’s hair at this salon.Service: Haircut

  Went to Miranda she is very good at eyebrows and hair cuts but not color needs more experience very nice but made my blonde roots gray

  I called in and left a message excited to try out a new salon closer to where I'm moving. I didn't get a call back. I called again and the second time was a charm. I was able to schedule and requested someone “experienced with highlights”. I came in and asked for highlights and a bump in my base. Something I've had done routinely across several salons for more than 25 years. Apparently my hair is “pourous” and lifted quickly. My roots and everything were one strawberry blonde color. My hair and scalp looked translucent. She then tried to darken it with a “shadow” that came out nothing like the photo she was going for to remedy the problem. My hair is now black, blonde and orange. 3.5 hours later and my hair is an absolute disaster. Fortunately, she didn't make me pay for it. The way it was handled was horrible, thus the 1 out of 5 rating. Mistakes happen every day and I understand that. I could tell at the shampoo bowl that she was mortified and asked another hairdresser for help. I knew it must be bad. But then when I saw it in the mirror and was mortified myself she acted like it looked normal. She called it “honey blonde” vs the orange that it was. Horrible experience :-(

  I came into the salon and was seen immediately, though appointments are generally needed. I had gotten a mess of a haircut 2 months previously at a different salon. Mike did an amazing job. I feel beautiful again and it will look great as it continues to grow out. Thank you!!!
