If I could give this negative stars, I would. They aren’t even deserving of the one I had to put to write this. I went here to get a bed. I was going to end up paying $1599 for just a basic off brand queen size bed and frame. So I reluctantly signed the agreement for “1599.00”. Even though that price was way too steep for this bed I honestly thought it was already so high because the finance company had to get paid as well somehow. Moving forward, 70$ came out of my bank account faithfully every week. I knew it was about time that it should be getting ready to be paid off because from my calculations I had paid just over 1300$ already. so I gave the finance company a call to ask them exactly how many more payments they had in their system just to double check. The lady said 25 more weeks…..so I swiftly pulled my calculator up just knowing my math skills must have gone completely out of the window and I didn’t know basic addition anymore. She then proceeds to tell me that all together they thought they were going to get over 3,000$ for literally the most basic mattress and frame. So upon further investigation, east main furniture failed to mention that part to me as you can clearly see in this invoice which was what I was given when I bought the bed…nowhere on this paper do you see $3,000 and just in case you’re wondering no there is no back to this paper nor any other papers to it at all…..I could have gotten a top of the line serta mattress that has all the gadgets on it for probably less then that. They had to be smoking crack to ever think they would get 3,000$ out of me. And even though 3,000$ was mentioned ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE IN THE AGREEMENT….east main furniture employees were 100% sure that their sales rep “verbally” told me it would end up being $3,000. I however can assure you they failed to mention that part. they most definitely knew that I knew $1599 was wayyyyy too high for that so instead of them losing a sale they just decided to leave that HUGE piece of information out. They won’t ever get a single penny more from me and I feel bad for anyone that goes in there and makes an agreement to one price and then later they double it up on you thinking you won’t notice. Don’t even waste your time.
