This place is the worst tire shop I know!! Dude sold me 2 tires , not even a week later they blew out on me on the highway and come to find out they were retreaded tires from 2001!!! I WENT BACK AND THE GUY SAID THEY DON'T HAVE ANY TYPE OF WARRANTY!! I PAID OVER $100 FOR 20+ YEAR OLD TIRES THAT BLEW DUE TO BEING RE TREADED WITHIN A WEEK OF PURCHASE! NOW IM OUT 100 AND STILL HAD TO BUY MORE FROM SOMEONE ELSE! DON'T COME HERE AT ALL!!!

I use to come here until the newest owners took over. Not very friendly and forthcoming as to prices. Huge difference between cash and card. All quotes are cash. Ask when using a card I got hit for additional 30.
Also told me my suspension was bad... it wasn't it was the frame rusted so bad the axle was no longer attached, but they took my money for 4 tires n brake pad replacement.. 👍
Almost had accident due to their incompetence and lack of auto knowledge.

Hi, had to delete my old review, and put a new one on since new owners and everything went in today to have a tire put on the rim and then mounted to my truck 25 bucks which is insanely cheap. I was in and out and maybe 10 minutes People there fantastic as always, never have a problem. I’ve been going to this location for over 10 years now and will continue to come back.

I caught a flat and was driving on a donut for a day so at the urging of my better half who knows Springfield much better than myself...I stopped at H&W Tire to buy a used tire. The guy I spoke with quoted me a price of $50 on the rim all included which is not amazing or anything but is certainly not a horrible cost for a used tire with reasonably good tread so he showed me the tire (and the tread was exactly that...reasonable...so I agreed in principle. I will transparently admit that my rim is a little bent from an accident in the past so a very slow air leak is pretty much expected. Sadly, as soon as the next day when I get back home to Cincinnati there is a serious issue. The tire is losing psi at a very rapid clip. We are talking about 2 psi every 5 minutes or so. Upon inspection of the tire it bows a bit which would seem to be at least in part the bigger issue here. The service was not bad, the price was at least fair but sadly the tire itself is not a good one. I have yet to be back in Springfield since but will attempt to travel back again late this week. If H&W were to try to swap the tire out and make this right my review would be two more stars but as this went 2☆ is all I can honestly rate my experience. I suppose we shall see if things are remedied. If so, I will gladly edit my review go reflect it.

After going to a chain store today to get an oil change & tire rotation, I noticed my low tire pressure light was on when I pulled out of the Valvoline parking lot. I had to stop and put air in my tire 3 times on my way home. When I called Valvoline, they essentially offered me nothing except free air. Ridiculous. So, I went to this local shop, H&W Tire Services. They immediately helped me, like within seconds, fixed my tire up, told me that Valvoline didn't put my valve stem back correctly (!!!) & that's why my tire was going flat. Even gave me a heads up on where my brake pads were at. Not only did they fix my valve stem immediately, but they were friendly - and did it for *FREE* 🙏 thanks guys! I appreciate you & will now only be going to this shop in the future :)

H & W thank you guys so very much for getting me back on the road. Woke up to a flat never a good way to start your day ? but H & W had me back up and running in 10 mins. Quick and friendly service a little patch job and I'm out. Can't thank you guys enough for getting me on the road so quick
