No customer service anymore. Before the credit unions merged there was customer service. 30 minutes being bounced from person to person and then told I needed to call a branch tomorrow. I do not recommend this cu. I am not sure why I still use them.

I am a member and have an account. However, I haven’t set up an online account. I don’t see anywhere on this website for a current member to open an online account. It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to find the icon for “Current Member: Open Online Account”.

I have been with this credit union for almost 30 years. Customer service is nonexistent. I have had a 10 day grace period on my loan since the beginning, now they give me a late payment within seven days past due. Reporting late payments that are not late is a deal breaker, what happened to the grace period. I have eight months left on my loan and I will be done with this company.

I have been with this credit union for over 40 years & I am going to be leaving them. I went to there office today in Springfield & they are closed due to Covid. Nothing on Social Media page or on the door except to say they are closed today. When I called them & ask if they will be open tomorrow was told no. I need a bank or cc union that has more than one office in the city I am banking in so that if this happens we can still bank. And a credit union that take customers consideration into there plans.

Although at first, there was some issues with the Credit Union, Jeff has proven to be helpful today, goes to show every once in a while people have bad days

Can’t understand all the bad reviews. I’ve banked with them for years and always had a positive experience. Yes they are somewhat outdated but have recently joined the tech ouch with online banking ect and it’s always worked for me. They are not flashy but everyone knows me by name giving it the “cheers” atmosphere. Jeff R. Does a great job and you are not just a number to them. Years ago yes you could just call and get them to answer but times do change and I’m not aware of any branch you can just call and get an answer unless your calling a call center. Don’t be afraid to bank with them.

I agree totally with the other customers! When I joined about 20 + years ago they were absolutely the greatest. The customer service was certainly an 7+! I could visit or call and get all of my questions answered "NOW" 1 star is all I can gv. When u call to speak to a representative all u get is there answering machine n when they did pick up they put me on hold n never came back. Can't get any kind of loan from them. Very very dissatisfied customer.

Why is it that every time I go online to check my account the website is always down. How are we as account holders supposed to access our information if none of your stuff is working properly. This is became increasingly frustrating!

Where to start with this review. I feel like banking with Heartland is similar to banking with an institution in the 90's; very outdated. They only accept cash payments. No mobile apps, or pay online options for loans. No weekend hours either which is a pain for someone like me that travels out of State 5 days a week. The only redeeming factor about this place is Mr. Rinker who seems to understand the inconveniences caused by Heartland. I would rather walk away entirely from an approved loan for my dream car or house than bank with Heartland again.

No weekend hours, limited to no after hours phone support, and generally just a lack of care for their patrons. 2 months later I still haven't received a replacement for an expired debit card. Cleared check imaging isn't working, hasn't been all week and no workaround or sense of urgency to get it working. I pulled in the drive through the other day and was completely ignored for over 10 minutes, had to drive around and go inside thinking maybe they were just busy. There weren't even any customers in the lobby.

Extremely disappointed with this bank. When I first got the account 8+ years ago they cared about their customers but since then it's became buisness as usual. Fees have all doubled or almost doubled, no support after 5 or weekends after hours help doesn't exist. When you call and complain it's always "sorry we can't do anything. Now they are a typical bank with astronomical fees and no care for the customer. I will definitely be leaving and getting my account with someone who values my buisness.

Extremly dissapointed in the new online banking update, and even more with the lack of support after 5PM. I have been with Heartland for 18 years and probably leaving due to lack of account support. There is literally no way to contact anyone after business hours end.
