Not happy with the way you must buy so many yards minimum for the closeout.
It excludes people that can't afford that many yards at a time

This store is closing, as all of their stores will be closing. It’s very unfortunate that we are losing stores one by one. This location is very Vintage and the aesthetics inside are cool. The staff was very friendly.

I don’t go to craft stores very often, but when we entered there was an employee working on a display, he said nothing to us, me and my wife split up to look for different things. I looked at the Christmas section as she went over to yarn looking for craft supplies for the niece's. After a few seconds I noticed I was being followed by an employee like I was a thief, come to find out my wife had the same experience. They weren’t there to help as they had said not one word. We wont be going back to this location. That was the most ridiculous experience straight down to the very lacking customer service who only asked for our phone number and said nothing else.

I was on the search for fall colored sprinkles. I checked this location and it showed several kinds currently available in store. I was hopeful and thinking this Joann's was going to be similar to ones in Columbus. I was dead wrong on all levels.
First, location, it looks like the next run down scene for a locally filmed horror movie. The inside matched. The air was stale and everything was tinged yellow. Very similar to the nicotine stain on bar walls. I noticed 4 employees, not a single one said hi. I walked the whole store before finding the quarter aisle of sprinkles. Most pegs were empty. I picked my bags and went to the register. At this point not a single employee in sight. My nephew (who is over 6' tall so you can't miss him) went to look for one and the woman ignored him and continued to walk away. I heard him saying "excuse me ma'am" on the other side of the store. She walked off into the back to join two more employees. After waiting seven minutes a disgruntled employee appeared from the other side of the store. She hastily said "do you have a number with us?" I told her no, she rang up my 3 bags of sprinkles, gave me my total, I paid and left. No smile, no hi, no small talk. Very unpleasant experience.
Had I not needed those sprinkles the following day I would have left without them.

I've been here a few times now and I don't get how you could treat employees like this let alone customers. This is a retail establishment and your AC is out when the temps are reaching over 90°F and I distinctly remember this past winter when the heat was out for an extended period of time. This is embarrassing for your brand image. Do better.

We had a great experience today shopping for upholstery fabric. We found exactly what we were looking for. Libby helped us and provided us with excellent customer service going above and beyond. Both ladies working were knowledgeable, super helpful and delightful! Store was clean and well
organized. Great Team! ♥️

Didn't know there was a JoAnn Fabrics in Springfield. Small but had lots of items. The staff was very nice and helpful. Yarn selection was actually really good. If you were looking for charms or jewelry making items, a great place to go! Lots of fabric as well.

Dropped my wife off at the store in a good mood got a call about 10 minutes later asking to be picked up said she didn't buy nothing because the employee Lindsey was rude making rude comments she was working between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. on Monday March 20th
