Normally I have no issues with this facility,but it took 3 visits to withdrawal a large amount from my account. On my 3rd visit the visit the teller asked if a check was ok I agreed but she didn't tell me there was a 5 dollar fee. She reversed the check and gave me cash. I asked for an envelope she handed me a standard envelope to put 90 bills in? Seriously considering changing banks.

I have been a member of WPCU for many years and felt it was time to share my experiences. My most recent trip on Saturday was a very good experience. I went to the Bechtle location to make a deposit. I was quickly seen and welcomed with a smile. The lady was patient and very helpful. The office is clean, modern and comfortable. I had my banking business completed in very little time. I also use WPCU for their investment advice through the CUSO services. I have also had good experiences there as well. I highly recommend this credit union.

I wish I could give the Wright Patt Credit Union on 2097 N. Bechtle Ave, Springfield OH 45504 a zero rating. Unfortunately, the rating does not go that low. I went to this credit union 7/7/23 to do a shared branch transaction. I gave the banker/teller my military ID, my driver's license and my banking account information. The banker/teller verified my information and I advised I needed a cashier check. The banker/teller was training and requested assistance from the branch manager to complete the transaction. After verifying my Identity and funds, the transaction was completed. The branch manager stated she had to retrieve the check from the bank and they both left me at the counter. After I left the branch, my husband called and stated this branch manager called our branch in Massachusetts and told the banker that she suspected fraud on the account and was verifying my Identity and the transaction. Did I mention I am Black and that she already had my military ID, driver's license, and account? I have traveled all over the world and worked with many shared branches and never had someone who verified my identity, then state that they suspected fraud when I tried to remove funds from my account. This branch has a serious issue and it needs to be dealt with immediately, because of the way they treat customers there could be an incident in this branch. Please have upper management address this concern. Military personnel should not have to go through this kind of grief from a prejudice bank manager. I am highly upset and disappointed in her action, and the fact that she called a branch with a lie that she suspected fraud. Unbeknown to her, we lived there for 7 years and was very close to the staff at that branch so they had no problem calling to let us know what the branch manager said. Never in my life have I been so insulted. Yes, Black people do have large sums of money in their account and no it is not stolen funds. Please educate the branch manager on this.

I will not bank anywhere else! I have had nothing but positive customer service since I began banking through them! I used a few different banks and have had very bad service! The last one, Huningtin, I had banked with since I was a teenager and closed it for the horrible service I received! Highly recommend and have!

I have a business account with wright patt I've never had Andy trouble cashing business checks there until today I've taken 5000 dollar checks in there and cashed them before and today I walk in to cash a check and the teller tells me that they are requesting a hold on the check because I've never cashed a check from that customer before when the day before I cashed a check of similar amount from the same customer and the teller says she can't find it in the system. So I call corporate and that lady finds the transaction just fine and then proceeds to tell me that it was the tellers personal decision to put a hold on the check furious is an understatement of how upset I am I have guys that were expecting to be paid today I'm probably going to be finding a new bank

Horrible experience with their loan department. Drea should be ashamed of how she treats customers like something she's stepped in. As for the actual branch, many of the tellers are snobby and minimally friendly.

I have heard nightmares about the loan processing, and I dealt wirh it personally it is a nightmare.No communication have to be a pest snd I don’t like that. They are still getting paid regardless if deal falls through or not always remember they don’t bend backwards!

nice low rate, horrible about sending out bills, an example if you have a car loan through them and let say the loan is due on 12 nov, they don't send the bill out till Dec 12. a month late. and that is policy not an accident.
