I was charged for a transmission fluid flush but they only drained and filled. I only know this because my car takes specific fluid and they had to buy it from a dealership which they had given me the receipt for. They also said they had changed the transmission filter but nowhere on the invoice does it say they did nor did the dealership receipt showing they bought one. After they had finished the fluid change I went to drive the car and it was shifting very hard and jerking. I took it back and they had said it’s an engine problem which I didn’t believe, they said there was too much “white smoke” on start up. It’s a diesel in 20 degree weather it’s going to be cold when you first start it. I had to have it towed to a dealership where it still is. The dealership did confirm there was no problem with the engine. Thankfully i’m knowledgeable enough to know that wasn’t the issue to begin with and refused to pay them an extra $170 for a leak down and compression test. I was warned not to take my vehicle here but i figured they were a reputable shop and unfortunately I regret it. If you go here make sure the invoice reflects what they do.

Very good folks to deal with. This past service is had requested for all 3 of my wiper blades be replaced and they only replaced 2. That was a bit disappointing.

By far the most expensive shop I’ve ever been to. It’s one of these places that will buy a part for your car and then charge you four times that much for that part, then add labor on top of that. I took a car in and told them what I thought the problem was. They told me it needed different things and chargeg me $180 to check it out. Then I took it to a different shop who actually scanned the computer and found out the real problem was something totally different. I think they’ll be out of business within a year or two at most.

I ? recommend Zima Automotive! They were very patient and kind. They called every step of the way and let us know what work was going to be gone before doing the work. They have very reliable loaner cars if you need a loaner car while your car is getting worked on. If money is tight they even have a financial plan too. Brandon and Max are very easy to talk with and very understanding.

I called for an oil change and they were able to get me in the very next day. Took care of me right away when I arrived. Everyone was very friendly and the lobby was clean and comfortable to wait in. They gave me recommended repairs without being pushy.

I'm terrified of having my car worked on because I'm not a car person, I put in gas and check the oil, then take it to a shop. My car is my treasure and Zima Automotive treats it the same way I do, with love and respect. They treat me the same way. They do a complete evaluation and tell you the current status of everything on your car along with the urgency levels. They take your budget into consideration and tell you what can wait and what really needs to be done. They're always concerned with my safety and knowing what is being done and why. I'll never take my car to anyone else for service or repairs.

This was my first visit to Zima. I got a large postcard flyer from them that advertised oil changes for $39.99 so I called and made an appointment. I asked if someone could drive me home and was told yes. When I got there, I was told that there was no one to take me home because one of the two guys who normally did that were unavailable--one's wife had a baby and the other was on vacation. Then I asked the price and was told $69.99. I thought that was high but my car was 100 miles overdue and I couldn't remember what the flyer said so I agreed. To be fair, the man there asked me if I had a coupon and I said no--not realizing that their flyer is also their coupon.
Later in the day I went back with the flyer and was told they could not go back and honor the "coupon" because I didn't present it at the time of service. No where on the flyer does it state that it is a coupon or that you need it to get the advertised price. There is nothing printed on it to even look like a coupon. There is no expiration date. The man there told me that I couldn't go back to Kroger and do that and I was too frustrated to remember that you can indeed go back with your receipt and get the the coupon redeemed--at least at Meijer, and I think Kroger too. So be forewarned--take your flyer with you. I feel like they baited and switched me because I didn't realize that a postcard with an advertised price can also be a coupon. I am now looking for a different place for my oil changes and auto work.

My car repair isnt even complete and they have my full confidence. I brought them a convertible top issue on my 370z which was really jacked up! They had it figured out in a day, parts ordered, and repair under way. It’s a very expensive repair which i was informed upfront. But i still believe this shop is the right choice. A dealership had the car 2 weeks without even touching the car or attempting the repair. They were dumbfounded by it, but not Zima, dug right in to it!

These guys did an excellent job installing a cat-back exhaust on my son’s car. They go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. Super friendly, quick and very reasonable rates! They will be my “go to” shop from now on for all of my vehicles needs!
