“Most of the workers are pretty great, and when those workers are on duty, the place stays clean and we'll maintained. When those girls get a day or two off, it really shows! There are like 2, maybe 3 whole employees there who, anyone can see, seem to have better things to do and dealing with customers is a nuisance to them and nothing More. Oh, and there are 2 specific girls that enjoy treating every single teenager that walks in like they're automatically shoplifting and follows them like a shadow! If they would put that much effort into keeping the store clean, I would have given 5⭐”

“The young men in the evening are very pleasant. The store is always clean and organized. The male manager whom normally works in the mornings is also very nice. One woman gives a not so nice feeling, especially when you're shopping using the DG digital coupons that are there to use! Besides that lady, the store is awesome and clean!”

“A few employees act as if they have better things to do than assist customers, one cashier just rings up whatever she feels like multiple times and GOOD LUCK getting ahold of a manager capable of refunds. My daughter and I were also stuck in the dead center of a shouting match between 2 employees while we were checking out, to the extent that I felt our safety was in jeopardy and the police were even called... All the employees I have referenced are actively still employed there too! And I still have not been able to reach the one manager capable of refunding nearly $20 that I was over charged because of the cashier's inability TO COUNT. If they would get new employees... I mean FULL EMPLOYEE WASH, from the top to the very bottom, store manager right down to the folks hired to come in a day or two a week just to unload truck and stock.. I would have that store at a 5star rating and profits increased by at least 20% and theft down 15% in less than 6 months, given the opportunity to manage the store location BY THE BOOK! And, in my store, customers are always appreciated and treated as they should, like the store is there for them, and because of them!”

“2-22-2023 I was honored to receive a $5 off $25 bonus coupon for use during the weekdays, so I went to the Steubenville, OH, Dollar General on Hollywood Boulevard to shop today. I like visiting this store because Jeannie and Nick are always professional, friendly, and willing to help their customers. I guess this will be my last review because Google puts a character limit on each. They need to have individual reviews per location. :(2-11-2023 I visited the Dollar General store on Main Street in Weirton, WV this morning and Theresa greeted me and helped me locate items I could not find. She is always helpful when I visit her store. Isaiah did a great job of cashing me out at the register. He had a wonderful smile, was kind, and treated me like family. Isaiah even processed my digital coupon for $5 off $25. Later that day, I found out I purchased the wrong paper towels and I went back to the store. Eric was kind enough to issue a refund for the purchase because they were out of stock of the correct paper towel. Eric took great care of me and handled the transaction quickly and professionally. Thanks for having such kind, considerate employees at this store. :)2-11-2023 I visited the Dollar General store on Three Springs Drive this morning and found everything I looked for. The store was clean and well-organized. Terri checked me out at the register; she was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. I used my paper coupon for $5 of $25 successfully and the bill was significantly lower than $25. I love those Saturday coupons! <3I made my Saturday morning trek to the Steubenville Dollar General store and was pleasantly greeted by Chase and Jeannie as I entered. Chase was handling the register, and Jeannie was stocking shelves. As I had questions about items on my list, Jeannie and Chase were available to help me locate the products; they physically walked me to each instead of pointing me to an aisle. I started using this location as my preferred one because they keep a good stock and premier customer service. The store was clean inside and out. I did not mind the area where stocking was in progress, and a cart full of items to stock in the aisle. This is to be expected for a high-volume store. I commend Jeannie on excellently maintaining her store and training new employees like Chase to be accommodating, friendly, and polite. I would highly recommend this location and these two employees to family and friends.1-14-2023Jeannie took great care of me today during my visit to the Hollywood Boulevard Dollar General Store in Steubenville, Ohio. She had everything in stock on my list. Jeannie assisted me in finding an item I needed; she was friendly and professional. Jeannie checked me out and made sure I received all of the discounts due me. Her store was clean and well-maintained. She always makes sure I am a happy DG customer. I appreciate Jeannie and her employees, who take wonderful care of me whenever I shop here. :)1-18-2023This afternoon, I was at another store close to Dollar General in Steubenville, Ohio, and saw some offers expiring today. I stopped by and was greeted with a smile and eye contact by Marranda. I asked her where the Sunchips were located, and Marranda took me there. I thanked her and found the Diet Mountain Dew Bottles on sale and Stax. I proceeded to the checkout area, and Marranda smiled, efficiently processed my order, and handed me the receipt. She took excellent care of me. I truly appreciate dedicated, professional employees like Marranda, who cares about her customers and treats them like family.1-21-2023Chase was busily stocking shelves today and took the time to help me find food for my new puppy. He also engaged me in a very interesting conversation, which taught me his high integrity during welding training. Marranda greeted me upon store entry with a smile and hello. She also politely checked me out when I was finished shopping today. She performed her job efficiently and professionally. I recommend this store and these two fine employees to family and friends.”
