I am currently employed at TNT and I have nothing but good things to say about the company. During my interview I wrote down what I considered to be an outrageous amount for my starting wage, hoping to not get talked down too far, and the owner immediately agreed to it. The owner Tom works on the floor with the rest of us and everyone gets along and helps each other. 10/10 would recommend this as a great place to work!

I worked there briefly. This tyrant only cares about himself and his two sons who work there also. There is nothing you can do to please this man. Everything has to be his way, you cannot say a word to anybody on the working floor , he has cameras throughout the shop and all he likes to do is sit in the office watching everything you do. Do one little thing that he doesn't approve of, and he will come storming out of the office to scream at you in front of the whole shop. If you have the opportunity to work there, DON'T.

I worked for the company he sold . Qualtech machine on bath road. He sold the company and stayed on as a salesman .well even with a no compete order this snake in the grass had opened up tnt under his sons name .and then stole customers and employees from the guy he sold it to .bit I have heard he is absolutely the worst person to ever work for. I remember him not even being but a sales man .I was running the cnc machines up bye the office .all this weirdo did was just stand inside and stare at people ???? Just a moron but he will always cut your last check to minimum wage. Stay away from this dude .

I worked for TNT custom equipment recently. The interview went great, I was offered a position at the salary i was asking plus overtime. When I arrived on my first day, the paperwork I was asked to sign had a different amount than we agreed upon at the interview. When I insisted the number be changed, I was met with an attitude by the owner, where he asked me again what I was making at my previous employer, and said "Okay so if I call in, they will confirm what you were being paid" to which I said yes. He then agreed to "meet me in the middle" paying me less than we agreed upon at the interview but more than he was trying to pay when i walked in.Day 1 went okay otherwise.Day 2, I was yelled at for doing something right. The role I was meant to fill was a Lead role, as a CNC Programmer. That role typically includes troubleshooting and making adjustments on machines for machine operators. I was yelled at for putting an offset in the machine, that fixed the part- without him being present. The entire day, he was walking around furiously- being very unpleasant.Day 3 was an absolute nightmare. He looked over my shoulder the entire time I was working to make sure I was doing things his way. We struggled on a setup working together. He insisted we fix things one way, when I knew from experience it could be fixed very easily by making one adjustment. That adjustment was what ultimately fixed the part when he finally agreed to let me try it.Day 4 was just as bad, He had me program my first job on his awkwardconversational controls ( Even though we had discussed using CAD/CAM software to write the programs ) As we went through the setup, he continued looking over my shoulder and barking orders at me, and criticisms on my methods. This made me nervous and out of nervousness I made a mistake checking a part dimension with calipers. ( Not a big mistake... about a .002 difference from what he had checked himself. The tolerance on the part was +.01 / -.00. This started an argument where he continuously accused me of "not being able to read calipers" I tried to explain that I was just using the calipers as a reference and that I normally wouldn't check a bore with calipers anyway.Day 5 was the final straw.. Everything was going well..I was spoken to in the morning about what had occured the day prior. I assured that they would see improvement on the day. As I assured, there was improvement. The parts I made on his machine were exactly as he wanted them. However, I used calipers to check the bore ( Since our discussion in the morning we determined that we could use calipers to check that tolerance.) Because I used calipers... after checking the parts and seeing that they were completely to his standards. He instead asked me " Why did you check these with calipers?, I was under the impression that we determined you don't know how to use calipers?" I tried to explain my thought process to him, and continuously pointed out that the parts were of exceptional quality, but he was determined to keep arguing with me about my use of calipers, because of a nervous mis-check the day prior. This went on for about 20 minutes, at which point I asked if his goal was to get me to quit working there. Which he said, if you want to quit go right ahead, so I took that as a request and resigned. I even offered to let him pay me what he originally wanted to pay me on day 1, since things didn't work out, and I get the feeling that was the core issue, that they didn't want to pay me what I wanted to be paid for the work.Fast forward to today. Payday. No paycheck. His assistant took my number down and said she did not know why my paycheck was not in my account. When I left even though I was coerced out the door, I was told that I would be getting paid "minimum wage" for not providing 2 weeks notice. There were no papers or forward notice of that "policy" of his.But alas...no paycheck. 3 others quit for the same reason of disrespect that week. I
