I only go there for the liquor store and an occasional item or 2 in the grocery aisles. Anna is a very friendly cashier. She gets picked on by management but still does her job very well. She always has some spunk, as proud Italians usually do. We have bonded, I only go to Giant Eagle to see her.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place with more angry, lazy and unhelpful employees. The morale at the store is dismal.
I really think that there needs to be more customer service in hospitality training done.

This will be my last horrible experience going to this store. Once again, 2 checkouts with lines with cashiers and 4 or 5 employees standing around just watching. The lady in line in front of me bought item s that were on sale and the employee said they weren't. I was going to buy 2 boxes of coffee that had a buy 1 get 1 free sign on the shelf but it didn't ring up. I'll be driving 5 miles down the road to do my shopping.

The are selling beautiful large potted tomato plants for 4 dollars. I got some for my garden yesterday.

Went in SPECIFICALLY for the whole chicken on sale at 2 p.m. I was told it had sold out EARLY that MORNING!! This is why I don't shop there often. Grrrr...

Can't use the self-checkouts unless you sign up for their data mining card. Only 1 cashier line open. Never shopping at a Giant Eagle again.

Disappointing.
Shopped there around 6pm today. Here is just an overview:
Bare shelves. 3 packs of strawberries left on shelf with no one to assist in produce.
Deli shelves were barre. With one person working. Deli person was friendly but shortly understaffed.
1 Gold Leaf Sweet Tea in dairy.
1 pack of all beef hamburgers left.
Customer at lottery machine looking for someone to assist him with lottery machine for ten minutes.
Self checkout bags were empty.
This is unacceptable for after work shopping.
There are many choices in the area. The similar experience has happened before but never as bad as this evening.
Management needs to look into operation.

They have little meals as you walk in there to your right. I think they call them meals to go.
