After figuring out what car I wanted to purchase, a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue, I contacted several dealerships to see what deals they could offer, the pricing was at list or a bit higher and the trade in were all about the same. I was out in Hudson so I figured I would check out Great Lakes Hyundai in Streetsboro and I was impressed. First they actually seemed to want my buisness, I was actually greeted when I came into the dealership. Second Justin did a nice job as the salesperson finding the vehicle I wanted and keeping me informed. Third Great Lakes was willing to knock $1000 off the price to get me to commit to the purchase. Fourth they ageed to the minor conditions I requested; not putting on the protection plan and no dealership decals on the car. Overall a very good experience. Delivery took a while, but that is typical these days. Justin kept me informed without being overbearing and he followed up after the delivery. If you are looking for a Hyundai I would give Great Lakes an opportunity; they are a bit low key, but they are willing to make deals. Because of the location I will probably have the service done at a dealership closer to me, but if I was purchasing another car I would definitely give Great Lakes a try.

John Fields and Justin are the salesmen I have dealt with in the 13+ years of doing business there. Clean showroom with a great coffee machine and lounge area. Must visit if you are shopping for a new or used car.

I have been taking my Sonata to Great Lakes Hyundai's service department since I purchased it in 2015. There service team is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with, but I never considered writing a review until my most recent experience. Last week during my morning communte my car began to rattle and I knew something was a miss. I called Great Lakes and Mark in their service department was able to fit me in that day. They determined the cause, ordered parts, and even set me up with a loner at no charge. I have always known the Great Lakes service department to be trustworthy, but my recent experience with Mark demonstrated just how far they will go to help their customers. If you are looking for a service department you can trust, look no further than Great Lakes.

Bought a vehicle they sold me a windshield protection plan ,wasn't explained that it wasn't transferrable or refundable only had the vehicle one year , I feel they rush you through ,who reads everything every paper word for word ,they show you a paper tell you what it was supposed to be you sign trusting them

Another satisfying experience with Streetsboro Hyundai ( John Fields). I just want to give a shout-out to Hyundai Streetsboro for being a wonderful dealership. They operate in integrity, and what more could you ask for! My experience was top-notch and I highly recommend them. Thanks again... you're all fabulous.... a little dusty... but we can overlook that.

This dealsrship is one of the best delerships Ive ever dealt with. Kriss Stepp the sales person I worked with was just awesome, so very professional and no pressure. I would highly recommend Great Lakes Hyundai.

Recently I had the pleasure to purchase a new Kona. I like most do not like car shopping but I met a salesperson Justin Greer. He was very understanding to my needs and BUDGET. I could not decide he was accommodating and waited several days without pressure until we made up our minds. I cannot stress what a joy he is to work with. I most definitely Recommend Justin !!

I've bought 3 cars and my husband 1 from Great Lakes and have alwsys gone back for problems and maintenance. . Typically Luke in service is who I go to for work, though everyone is pleasant and willing to assist. I have no plans to go anywhere else.

Shopping for a new car only to find they take on a 2 to 4000 premium on their prices. When I asked about it their answer is "everybody is doing it, it's just business".Everyone is NOT doing it, walk out if they charge extra. There are plenty of dealers not charging extra and taking advantage of every customer that walks in their door.

Be weary buying used car here. Of course when buying a new car, care must be taken to inspect the car, but at a dealership like this you expect some level of integrity. Would not trust them again, new or used.
