After figuring out what car I wanted to purchase, a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Blue, I contacted several dealerships to see what deals they could offer, the pricing was at list or a bit higher and the trade in were all about the same. I was out in Hudson so I figured I would check out Great Lakes Hyundai in Streetsboro and I was impressed. First they actually seemed to want my buisness, I was actually greeted when I came into the dealership. Second Justin did a nice job as the salesperson finding the vehicle I wanted and keeping me informed. Third Great Lakes was willing to knock $1000 off the price to get me to commit to the purchase. Fourth they ageed to the minor conditions I requested; not putting on the protection plan and no dealership decals on the car. Overall a very good experience. Delivery took a while, but that is typical these days. Justin kept me informed without being overbearing and he followed up after the delivery. If you are looking for a Hyundai I would give Great Lakes an opportunity; they are a bit low key, but they are willing to make deals. Because of the location I will probably have the service done at a dealership closer to me, but if I was purchasing another car I would definitely give Great Lakes a try.

The sales person, John, helped us find our new Tucson, with the features we we requested. The process was quick. We loved it as soon as we viewed it. Paperwork took very little time to complete. The staff was friendly and efficient, an amazing experience! Thank you!

Been here multiple times for maintenance usually do drop off and pick it up the next day. Because of work I stayed and waited TWO hours for an oil change, new wiper blades, and a battery test. recommend dropping off...

I had an absolutely amazing buying experience with Kriss Stepp at Hyundai Streetsboro. His level of professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. He thoroughly explained every step of the process along the way and made buying a car easy. Bill the sales manager and Patrick in finance were equally terrific. This is a beautiful dealership with a great inventory and I will definitely come back when I need another vehicle.

Sales team: made a great effort in attempt to put me 8k in the hole.Service team: changed my new tires for dry rotting tiresI will not interact with this group again.Won't spend a dime here.It was a fine dealership when Dennis was the name.Great lakes is mooching off Dennis' reputation.Few of the original workers are there still.Not saying to avoid them... but... be extremely cautious when getting your vehicle serviced. Be sure you aren't getting jipped

John Fields and Justin are the salesmen I have dealt with in the 13+ years of doing business there. Clean showroom with a great coffee machine and lounge area. Must visit if you are shopping for a new or used car.

The car buying experience can be pretty long drawn out and overwhelming, also people looking for a sale to boost their income, nevertheless I didn’t feel pressured nor did I feel rushed when coming to Great Lakes Hyundai. Aaron Moore stayed consistent with me answering questions for a week before I actually made the decision to purchase a vehicle. He answered all my questions about the vehicle and about the payments on my car. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service. Mike in Finance was always a big help with breaking down contracts and payment details ! Over all 10/10 highly recommend

Shout-out to Lucas Rigby. I appreciate his straight forward manner and personality. He makes it easier when dealing with moderate to expensive repairs.The facility looks great and it's always clean. I love their coffee machine which dispenses a Triple Dark Expresso. Having my car serviced at Great Lakes Hyundai is worth the drive.

Jim Hedges was my salesman. He was excellent, polite, very knowledgeable of the vehicles on the lot. He listened to me and found the best car possible for me.I also want to say, he is very honest answered all my questions and found the answer if he didn't know it. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had buying a car!!

Purchasing my vehicle was a breeze. Very nice friendly staff, they got my car payment to be exactly where it needed to be.Service department seems to have some miscommunication happening.. only had a few hiccups with them. I needed two parts for my taillights but someone made a mistake and ordered one when I was told that both would be there. It’s difficult for me to take time out of my schedule to come back, service advisor only apologized and that was it, still had to pay full price… some sort of discount would of been nice even if it was only 10% taken off.

Phenomenal staff. Especially Mike and Alex.I’ve worked in customer service before and the degree to which I was helped - not just pre sale - but since I bought my Santa Fe has been astonishing. These guys really do want to build life long customers and they go above and beyond to prove it. Their customer service just blows my mind. My wife and I will be ever grateful to the staff here at Great Lakes Hyundai.I hate car shopping. I hate going to the mechanic. It’s typically painful and frustrating and expansive.If you want to work with straight forward and honest sales reps go here.If you also want staff that continues to take care of you and your car needs after the fact, definitely go here.Highly recommend.

I bought a new car from Jim Hedges at Great Lakes Hyundai in July 2023. I'd had some terrible experiences elsewhere while shopping for a new vehicle, so I didn't have the best attitude going in. But Jim was great. No hard sell, no giving me the runaround for hours, no talking down to me bc I'm a woman. He showed me several options in my price range and helped me find the perfect fit!
