Just bought my wife a 2020 Grand Cherokee here. I've bought way too many cars for someone who is 40 years old. Having said that I have a lot of experience with dealerships. Savanah was my salesperson and she made the day. Savanah alone is the reason I would return to this dealer, she was responsive, efficient, honest, and was single handily managing two other deals when I got there but made the time for me and made a smooth, transparent and quick painless transaction. I'd give her 100 stars if I could.

Awful service, and worse knowledge of what they are doing. We went there to see a used car the last week of Dec. we were able to look at it but could not test drive it because a light was on the dash, so we told them we wanted the car contingent on a test drive, they said no problem they would do the repair and call was when it was done and in the meantime the car would be removed from the website well it was not removed not even from their own website. It took them over a week for the repair, I called them back and finally they said the car was repaired but to wait until tomorrow so they could test drive it and make sure all was good and so they could detail it, ( which they did not do before placing it for sale). We test drove the car and had to bring it back immediately because there was a problem with the brakes ( so much for test driving it after repairs). They did replace the rotors and we brought the car home that night. Then the next day during the day light my husband had to detail the car because they did not. so many other things bad including paper work incorrect and numbers not matching on sales agreement, and now we have been waiting 40 days for tags and still do not have them.

ABSOLUTELY THE MOST TERRIBLE SERVICE and SAFETY ISSUE WITH TIRE!!! THEY COVERED UP DAMAGE!!! The new vehicle (female owner) was brought back in for tire leak on SAME tire that was previously repaired by the service department. The Tech had ripped a large section of bead off the tire down to steel belt and purposely remounted the damaged tire. This damage was discovered when 2nd Tech broke tire down as they could not understand why it was still leaking when it was brought back in for losing air. We asked that they replace the tire as it wasn't fixable and clearly was their fault as their service department did the work and then reinstalled the dangerously damaged tire. Scot Clapham was completely unprofessional and un willing to do anything to fix the situation that was clearly created by their Tech. It makes you wonder if they are risking other customers lives with sub standard and dangerous work? Shame on you Scot Clapham!!!

Service department cracked my windshield on my 2019 Atlas with 10k miles on it, either in car wash or while performing service. Service manager offered to split the cost 50/50 with me. Of course this was a ridiculous offer by the organization that caused the damage. I asked to speak to the general manager of the dealership and was told he wasn't available and that the offer "was a good as it was going to get." The service managers name was Brian Kaufman. It was clear that Brian didn't care about the Volkswagen name or customer service. Only protecting his own job and bottom line. Tried to contact the general manager multiple times by text, email, and phone calls. Never received a return in correspondence. Will never go to Volkswagen Streetsboro again and may never buy another VW again. I'm on my 5th Volkswagen and have never had this kind of treatment by any customer service business. Will be pursuing corrective action through other legal means. If a car dealership isn't willing to do the right thing in their service department, they certainly won't do the right thing in their sales department. There are plenty of other good VW dealerships in the area like Kempthorn, Akron, and Bedford. This was unfortunately the closest one to home for me.

Go here if you want to waste your time. If there is one thing i absolutely cant stand is for a dealership to waste my time and try to play me for a fool. I drove two hours to this mistake of a dealership after they continuously called me about coming to test drive and look at a vehicle i had inquired about. Finally made some time to go out there and when i get there they tried to play me and wanted me to fill out a credit app for a test drive. Mind you none of this was mentioned over the phone. I immediately felt judged and thats all i needed to see to realize they arent getting my business. Never judge a book by its cover is something that should be taught at all places. The next person especailly coming into your dealership could be coming to buy 1 or 20 cars for all you know and not only did you miss out on a sale. This negative experience will be shared with anyone who i speak to. Way to go!

Working with Chloe made buying a car very easy. She was very knowledgeable and patient as we went through the decision-making process. We would highly recommend seeking your next car from Volkswagen of Streetsboro

I was with my son, who took his car there to be evaluated for issues with heat not working. They wanted him to leave his car for the day so they could do diagnostics. They called and said they would need to keep the car longer (days) and possibly weeks, depending on if diagnostics revealed more issues. Apparently, the diagnostic is done in tiered levels, which you have to pay for each tier. On top of that, they don't offer a loaner, but they did when he considered buying the car. How was he supposed to get to work with no car?? When asked to speak to a manager, he was told he was not working that day. So he'd had to pay for a diagnostic that didn't reveal the issue, so he was right back where he started. What a rip off!!! I will never buy or endorse Volkswagen. Nice looking cars but service is important. All that glitters is not gold. Do your research when buying cars and check out service department service and if they offer loaners when doing repairs.

This was the worst experience I have ever had a dealership. I had water saturated on the driver and passenger sides of my atlas. I had an appointment and was there for over 3 hours. The technician didn't know what was wrong with it after 3 hours of looking at it and wasn't able to diagnose without the master technician. So why would you have somebody there work on the car if they're not competent alone and waste my time. I was then rescheduled for the following week at 8 AM to drop off my car. I texted the front desk person that gave me their number to be able to communicate and get updates. I waited till 1:45 after I hadn't heard anything and they didn't even respond to my text. After calling and asking multiple people what's happening with my car I keep getting told they are still working on diagnosing it only to find out at 4:00 that they have not even brought it into the bay. They would not give me loaner and seemed incredulous that I needed my car back. I'm not sure how many people just have extra cars laying around. I got my car back without anyone telling me a single thing that was done and they didn't even put any of the pieces they took off back on, including some exposed wiring. I then called the Akron dealership and they were amazing! Everything was figured out in a couple hours and was given a loaner while I wait for parts. Don't go to Streetsboro VW!!!!

Wow. The worst. Said they'd send me pricing after a test drive. Never heard from them. Tried calling and emailing the salesman. No response. Tried calling the sales manager. Receptionist said he'd call right back. Nothing. Dudes, just tell me you changed your mind. I'd have no problem with that. But why lie to me?

Wish I would have checked here first, the one star reviews are correct. Had a similar experience to Phil B.

It can't be due to lack of staff. But this place had terrible service. I found a car to look at. On text, emails they're quick to contact and respond etc. but in store once checked in even early I sat for 30 minutes not a single person said anything.

highly recommend not going to this dealership. Service was awful. Would not return phone calls or emails. Please go somewhere else. This dealership should go out of business

I can honestly tell you that I would not feel comfortable recommending this establishment to anyone. I have had my vehicle serviced like clockwork with this location since I purchased my vehicle from another Vendor brand new 2013. I Never missed the recommendation for oil changes or anything with the vehicle. And then, in January, of 2022 I took my car in for the usual recommended oil change and servicing. Within a month, I started, noticing that the vehicle was not running as smooth as it should've been, and made an appointment to have It looked at & found out that there were "shavings in the oil" which meant there was a problem with the engine. The repair cost me over $5000 which totally blew me away because I have been on top of any and everything pertains to this car because I totally love my beetle bug! How can a person get their oil changed along with the factory recommendations on a vehicle a month prior to be told the next month that particles from metal were found in the oil pan from the engine? That vehicle was my only mode of transportation. Which meant whatever I had put aside and sell had to be used to get this matter fixed. Yes, the work was done on my vehicle. The Service workers Rock! I have not had any problems with it since and I shouldn't have problems because it cost me over $5000. About 5 months later, the motor went out for the Convertible Top. This also cost me over $5000! Which means I spent over $10,000 on my vehicle within a year. I do admit that it turned out that my daughters shoe somehow became lodged with the convertible top. When I used the mechanics to seal and close the top I take full responsibility for that, but I don't take responsibility, nor my bad feelings for what happened to me next when I came in to pay the second bill within a seven month Period. When I came in to pay, I wrote a check to cover the expenses and was told that they did not except checks for that amount of money. I reminded the workers behind the desk that I was there less than seven months ago and I paid them by check for the work that was done on my engine a month after I had it serviced by them I was told everything was fine with the vehicle after my routine recommendations were finished on my vehicle. I then went to my bank teller at Huntington Bank, and had a bank check issued and made out to Streetsboro Volkswagen in which the attendant held a check up in the air & then towards the ground as it to say to me that it was a fraud check. I was mortified at the time that he would do that because people were in line waiting to pay for their vehicles, I felt that my check was handled as though it was a fraud ad though I wrote a bad check when it was clearly a bank certified check. I was so embarrassed that I just walked away to cool off and came back in which I watched as another worker along with another staff member was in the back room, which had clear glass staring at the Huntington Bank Check and counting the numbers on the bottom of the check. I approached them and asked what were they staring so intently at? They said that they wanted to make sure the check had the 'proper' amount of information at the bottom. I replied ' i'm not sure what's going on here, . But If you need to have someone else check a certified bank check to make sure it's appropriate. You're probably in the wrong job. I walked away and contacted the management by phone the next morning to let them know what had happened. This is one of three situations within the past three years that have happened at this establishment and I'd rather take my car anywhere else to have it serviced than to the Volkswagen location in Streetsboro. Please understand, I don't have a problem with the mechanics; the mechanics I would give a five out of five stars! It's what I've been experiencing and dealing with the staff behind the desk, and in the back office with the windows has brought me to the point that I would rather drive to Medina, Willoughby, and even North Olmsted to

Good luck getting someone on the phone. Took my car there for an oil change because they're a VW dealership and they're close . Both times no one bothered to call me and let me know that the vehicle was completed ....both times .....which were eight months apart, I called their number to see what was going on and both times I ended up speaking to someone in Bangladesh, who said they would have someone call me. Never got a call.... Not sure what this new game is where no one answers the phone in the dealership, but when I walked in, no one was doing anything ...so they weren't busy. They were just sitting at their desks, not selling cars not calling people for service just sitting there ! I don't get it ? When I ask the service manager, what was wrong with her phones he said yeah we know it's terrible .... So they know about it, but they're not doing anything about it to improve their service, or perhaps increase their sales ? That's kind of a counterproductive business model I would think . I'm definitely not coming back for Service or my next vehicle. But Ray in Bangladesh was really nice when I talk to him .
