Garbage. Spoke to a banker tells me to do something. Spend an hour doing what he asks. Then tells me yea they can’t do It bc of some bank law. This is the definition of poor customer service. I went to this location today with a larger check ($9,000) I wanted to cash the check which was a 5th3rd check & from my lawyer.
The person at counter told me she didn’t know if she could cash it. Then she sent me to a man that worked at a desk (I wish I got his name). He told me that “he called my lawyer (I didn’t even know he was or gave him the #, not that I mind) and my lawyer had said he knows about the check & just didn’t know why I waited so long (it was 30days & I was going to use the $ to set up a small business account but wanted to see who had best deals or whatnot) but he told me that he “wasn’t going to be cashing the check because he couldn’t verify if I had cashed it somewhere else” (I signed the back of the check at the counter in front of the worker) & a bank TAKES the check when they cash it ! And my lawyer would have told him that instead of saying he doesn’t know why I waited so long) and when I said that; he told me that “he didn’t feel comfortable handing me $9,000!!!! I don’t care how he feels: it’s MY MONEY!!! I was buying a motorcycle & it shouldn’t matter. It’s their own issues check & he talked to the person who wrote it. I wanted to cash it so I didn’t have to wait 10 days if I opened a account somewhere & now I KNOW I will definitely NOT be opening an account with them.
It’s not up to them what I spend my $$ on. I am sure he didn’t want to do whatever paperwork or whatever work came with getting that much money together because it was 415-430pm. Very disappointing!! Blew my mind “don’t feel comfortable handing me $9,000!!!!) wow

Been a customer for years and never have i been treated like this before. This lady named barbara hunt needs to be fired or laid because she definitely doesn’t the right training and needs to work on her attitude. She is rude and very disrespectful!!!!

They steal your money by holding checks for a full ten days. They then give you the excuse of insufficient funds as they look at you with a straight face, when the account has millions of dollars in it. Absolutely "DISGUSTING" bank. Further more, all you have to do is look, and you will see "MANY" unhappy people with this bank. Everything from stealing money, to hidden fees, to very rude personel, to my personal favorite....non english speaking foreigners that expect you to believe their name is Bob!!!!! Wake up people! This bank is hot garbage!!

I've been with 5/3 bank for over 20 years. I wanted you to know that my daughter and I had the best experience yesterday at your location. Laura was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She is a huge asset to 5/3 and deserves much kudos.
