I shop here everyday I do instacart delivery and I come here to get drinks and use the restroom sometimes but while I was in the restroom I heard someone arguing and when I came out it was my girlfriend and the "manager" because the manager followed us to the restroom and while my girlfriend was waiting for me to come out she asked if she needed help finding something my girlfriend said no and the girl got upset I don't know why but we just didn't need her help we was only there to pee and get a drink and leave but because I walked In with a hoodie on and the hood up which she obviously thought we were trying to steal something but only caught us trying to use the bathroom but now we are banned because the manager wants to assume we're stealing but now I am filling a complaint going to get her fired because I feel like is due to me not being white and having to go to the restroom but I've never had a problem with anyone but her about using the restroom

Reported this to corporate. LET ME RE ADD GOT KICKED OUT FOR GOING TO THE BATHROOM GIRL REFUSED TOO GIVE ME HER NAME ITS A MANAGER AS SHE CLAIMS. All we did is go to the bathroom and got followed back there and then was told they don’t want our business but did nothing wrong at all and even buy stuff from thereWORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE SEEN EVERAND NEVER ASKED IF I NEED HELP. Me and my boyfriend come here often we come from far so we go to there bathroom and a younger girl came up to my by the phone cases and asking me if I needed help looking for something like I’m stealing and gave attitude and said ok when I said I’m just looking. Also the checkout I understand they want to make sure people arnt stealing but having the working next to you wanting to scan ur stuff at self checkout is crazy and bagging ur items it happens everytime and to multiple people. I would say customer service needs to be addressed.

if the workers are just going to hover over you and quite literally breathe down your neck like you’re a thief while doing the self checkout, don’t offer self checkout and just have regular registers.

always have enjoyed the store but today a worker made a comment while i was checking out that threw me off for some reason. all they said was “usually people only get a couple things from here” when i brought up my basket, and it was like, okay?? i shouldnt feel like im burdening someone when its literally their job. i definitely think they should bring back the self checkouts, because ive always done better without the extra help, especially after that :((

Jaden is one of the most pleasant young boys you will come across in this day and age. He’s a very respectable young man and very considerate. He is always super helpful when I go to 5 below and the reason I keep coming back. Someone needs to give this boy a raise.

I went to the SELF checkout today to avoid contact with people and to scan my own items and the worker leaves the costumers who went to the regular checkout to come to me (AT SELF CHECKOUT) to scan and bag my items. WHY HAVE SELF CHECKOUT IF YOU ARE STILL GOING TO BOTHER ME.
