I can only say that I have shopped at many many many stores for one thing or another, my experience at the Strongsville Lowe’s with the young lady Danny was one for the ages. She was the most kind understanding and professional person I’ve ever met at any of those type of stores, kudos to you Lowe’s for hanging onto someone that professional and capable of making me smile specially right when they opened up, she’s in the paint department. She is incredible.

In November I purchased flooring from Lowes after giving the measurements to the department they suggested purchasing how many boxes. The project of installing got delayed from when my friend could help install. In the week of February 3, 2025, we installed the flooring and noticed that it was short. I went down to Lowe's and purchased three additional boxes.
On February 9, I went to return one of the flooring boxes. They wouldn’t allow me to return it or use it for store credit. Because it ended up being on of the boxes purchased in November. I asked to speak with the manager. They said I could not return the flooring box due to Lowe's' 90-day policy. I explained that it was the same exact box as the one purchased that week. I suggested that I was willing to take store credit as a replacement because I was going to get items while I was there.
The manager was very dismissive and rude towards me. I asked for a customer service number I could call about this issue. I spoke with customer service line the following Monday and explain, they understood and said they would have the store manager contact me within 5-7 days. I was copied on the email. We are no going on 21 days and have have not heard anything.

I live nearly equidistant between the Ridge Park, and the Strongsville, Lowe's stores, so I sometimes shop at one or the other. There were some issues with getting a door measure (and project quote) for my home. Ultimately, I contacted Mike Miller, the Strongsville store manager, and he cut through all the B.S.
Mike is a standup guy, and he returns calls and follows-up. Sadly, the same can't be said about other Lowe's store managers or other Lowe's employees. I won't get into any of that here, but needless to say, it's clear to me why Mike is a store manager. His customer-focused attitude, and commitment to customer service, has me convinced that I should only be purchasing through the Strongsville Lowe's store.
Ultimately, Mike made arrangements for me to be promptly contacted by Antoinette DiFeo, the In Home Consultant for Lowe's. She was knowledgeable, professional, and considerate. I finalized the garage Man Door project with her on the day of the door measure and project quote, and if all goes well (as I expect it will), then I am already in the early stages of purchasing front entrance doors from Lowe's, too.
Mike and Antoinette are great ambassadors for the Lowe's brand, and I'm glad that they made me feel like they are on my team (I know it sounds hoaky, but it's true).

We went in tonight to buy new wood bed slats. We were told the cutter was gone but to ask Ryan for his recommendation on what kind of wood would be best. How fortunate for us! Ryan was amazing and so knowledgeable and helpful!

We ordered @Pella windows from @Lowes Strongsville in Feb 2024. The windows took a bit as expected, once the installation date came we found out the window casings were not shipped. We resolved that (we thought) and waited for the casings to come in. They came in, arranged, installed…..but the color was wrong (not a little, very noticeable). To make this shorter, it is now Jan 30, 25 and we found out that for the 4th time the casings were ordered or shipped with the wrong color. We provided the color plus they have our window order. Would you put up with no window coverings for 12 months? Worst part is the communication, yes I know they are embarrassed but they don’t call us, we have to call them and go through 3 people, then no return calls. We now are delaying selling our home….will this project ever be completed?

Can we add back the button to call for an employee in the paint section. Every time I come it’s 20 minutes at least before someone comes by. Then I get to watch all the other employees just walk by without a care.

UPDATE:
I have increased my original star rating from 1-star up to 3-stars because Lowe's did finally pickup the excess fence materials and wood pallets and refunded the money for those materials. They did not remove the piles of dirt next to each post. The reason I'm only giving Lowe's 3-stars is that it took several phone calls and the posting of my original review and photos here before they finally took action. Read my original review, below, to learn more about our experience.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
My daughter recently spent $25,035.30 on a new fence from the Strongsville Lowes. Unfortunately, the installer left several wood pallets that some of the fencing materials were delivered on. She called and emailed about this and was told that she is expected to dispose of this herself. Her contract states that the installer will "Remove/haul away existing fencing material." Hmmmmm
Also, the installer left piles of dirt at EVERY post hole. The contract states: "Complete final clean-up and haul away all job-related debris." Seems like hauling away the dirt piles would fall under this.
Other issues:
- The installer put a piece of fence where a gate was specified because the gate didn't come in before the installation date. My daughter decided that she is happy with this and requested a refund of the difference between the cost of the gate and the regular piece of fence that replaced it. No response from Lowes.
- There are plastic pieces scattered about the yard left by the installers that could damage her mower or get in the paws of her three dogs that the fence was intended to keep safe. These need to be picked up.
- There are a couple other smaller issues but I'll save them for an update to this review.
Probably the most aggravating part of this experience is Lowes not responding to some of these concerns. As a business owner myself, I learned that not responding to customer complaints in a timely manner only makes the customer more upset to the point where they leave negative reviews about the business and shares that experience with everyone they know. NOT a good business model.
I'm hopeful that Lowes will make things right - soon.
